@DeepSimulations where can I find the link? Is it just in the ofm Taiwan theater?
Hi, happy to help but I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Hi, happy to help but I’m not sure what you’re referring to.
@drtbkj @Jumpstart5179 I’m all set up now thanks. Here’s my flight over the Gulf of Tonkin last night. Today I’ve got some F-104F weaseling scheduled.
I’d been away from BMS for a few months while flying some great recent SR-71 and F-104 releases in X-Plane.
The nostalgic flying of those great jets had been really rewarding there but I miss having SAMs shot at me , so I’m back in BMS - Vietnam.
Thanks again for the help and the updater!
Hi,
I’m debating whether to try an roll back to 4.37.2. so I can fly “the lost theatres”.
Are there any plans to bring this theatre up to 4.37.3+?
@Seifer Thanks for this. Got all my F/A-18s/CF-18 mirrors fixed with code, including those that didn’t have working mirrors in U1-2.
@kouzi I was wondering that myself.
Thanks for your work on this - much appreciated!

Hi,
I went into the TE builder this morning and looked at every F-16 variant. Below are the results. Those marked (OK) showed correct textures. Those unnoted had scrambled textures along the lines of what @Trueno posted. As mentioned in my original post, I think (and this is just a guess) this is caused by the included textures not being the correct ones for the those JanHas models that are used in EMF. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that pasting JanHas skins from the packs you created for the Balkans, Israel and KTO to replace the EMF included skins corrects the problem in those cases I tested so far.
Hope that helps.
Cheers.

Is it possible you included JanHas models in this theatre (bonus!), but not the corresponding JanHas skins?
I know you worked on the Korea/Israel/Balkans JanHas packs (thanks for that!) which I had installed previous to installing EMF tonight.
When I installed EMF tonight, I found the skins for many (but not all) F-16s were scrambled. Suspecting that the models didn’t suit the skins, I grabbed the all the (non-HiRes) skins from your JanHas Balkans mod and pasted them over the skins in the EMF skins folder and it seems to have corrected the problem so far.
I haven’t checked every jet yet, but it did correct the F-16CM50, F-16CM40 and the F-16I Sufa CFT, all of which are in the JanHas kit, and all of which were scrambled prior to the paste over.
So far so good on my end, but just a heads up for you.
Thanks. I paused the screen at just the right moment (luck) and took about 5 pics from different angles. That shot immediately became my desktop image too.
Cheers!
On final at KKMC, Saudi Arabia after a night CAP.
I’ve been doing more flying than posting recently, but here’s a few pics. JanHas Sufa - amazing details!
If I’m not mistaken, the NVG controls through the VTOL command is simply whether to show NVGs on the pilot model helmet or not. It has nothing to do with actually using the NVGs in the cockpit.
If you watch the pilot model from the exterior, you will see the change when you toggle the VTOL, assuming you installed the feature to begin with.
Cheers.
I agree. This is not the time for that theatre, for all kinds of reasons.
@sheref OK, it sounds like my installation is complete and proper then.
Thanks again!
Hi everyone, thanks for the replies.
To clarify, I did do the installation before my last post and everything looks good. I was only asking about the extra “canopyscratches.dds” file found on Sheref’s google drive. I’m not sure what to do with it. The other files were installed OK.
@b0bl00i , for your question: the URL is in the very first post by Sheref in this thread where it says “link text” in blue at thee bottom of his post. The link takes you to a google drive folder with all the files.
I copied the .dds files inside the “All F-16’s Cockpit Textures” to the Data/TerrData/Objects/KoreaObj_HiRes folder (I did this for each theatre I use), overwriting the ones there. (Make backups first!)
Then I did the same with the files inside the “Texture Issues Fix” folder from the google drive.
Then I got the context@[email protected] file from the google drive’s “cockpit textures need it” folder (go down into the sub folders to find it) and copied it to the Data/Engine/Shaders/Cache/D3D11/PS folder, overwriting the file there.(Make a backup first!)
I didn’t install the sound mod as I use JanHas models for a lot of F-16s and didn’t want to mess with this at this point.
Hope that helps!
The cockpit textures look and work great, and I do have some canopy scratches showing in 3d.
My question was specific to the extra, stand alone file called “canopyscratches.dds” in @sheref 's google drive. I expect that Falcon BMS F-16’s models won’t recognize a file with the name “canopyscratches.dds” as all the .dds files are numbered 1 - 9000+, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to rename it to one or more specific numbered .dds files to get that scratched canopy effect AFTER doing the above installation. I opened the file in GIMP and it looked different from other canopy files, so I thought it was meant to replace some other files.
Sheref, if I understand you correctly, this “canopyscratches.dds” is old and no longer needed if the installation was done as above? Or does it add/change something extra if it is renamed and installed after the regular installation?
@Quasi_Stellar, where did skyfix come from? I searched the forums for “skyfix” and “sky fix” and found nothing.
Thanks again for any clarification, and thanks to Sheref for this great mod!
