RE: 4.35 Air source knob invisible to those of us without Head Tracking
You can easily press the button without seeing it. Hover the mouse pointer over the handle, once it changes into the green pointer, click once. Air source set. There are no other knobs close by that could cause confusion.

RE: HUD can’t be flipped in RTT
Do a search for hud mirroring, there was a thread on it a couple ofof months ago

RE: F-18 cannot refuel with refueling boom
Stevie probably has ‘flown’ tons of trainer tankers.

RE: As real as it gets - Falcon BMS
i wonder where are all the simmers that would have killed mother and father for an accurate flight model or missiles or systems.
We have been hammered years for this , while a few GFX goodies would have been sufficient to turn them into believers…
Sad…
Just don’t feed the trolls mav.

RE: Refueling with Hotas Warthog
Ignore YOUR speed and position, it is irrelevant - fly on the tanker and you’ll be fine.
fully agreed. Best tip I ever got to lear AAR: turn the HUD OFF. Do not fly speeds, do not fly fpm to the horizon. It all does not matter, and will most likely cause pilot induced oscillations. Fly formation on the tanker. Relaxed hand on the stick. And the throttle constantly making adjustments; whereas the throttle movements can become gradually smaller when you are settling in.

RE: [4.34.1] "TRBMS 06 ILS WEATHER", ILS fail?
Flow, did you try the training mission 6 in 4.34.1? It seems to be specific issue for that mission. I have the same problem, squadron mate of mine too. It seams mission specific (or perhaps airbase?): other ILS missions work fine. ILS is on ,correct frequency. The captains bars appear in the hud; but the ILS is never ‘picked up’ (no command steering; and ils flags in the ADI), even when just a couple of miles out of base.

RE: Perhaps a MP bug?
Tbuc, you seem to be talking about something different, as you don’t mention the disconnect/reconnect? Point is: it is impossible to rampstart, as throttle is not working at all. Not only not visibly moving, but completely nin functional.

RE: Perhaps a MP bug?
hi Dee Jay,
what exactly do you need? At the falcon online forum, Bad Boy posted several recommendations for MP events; on May 3rd. His 6nd point said:–-
6/ client side : try to not leave the 3D (for whatever reason) as much as possible during the Ramp start procedure (wait to be at least in the air (after take off) before leaving 3D) because there is an annoying know issue (not yet fixed) where the plane begin to move “nose up” slowly and if you want to join again this plane then the throttle is not working anymore (-> impossible to start the engine)it states ‘known issue’. So, what kind of repro is needed at this time? And how do you propose this repro is obtained / what data do you need other than the examples mentioned in this thread?

RE: Perhaps a MP bug?
Any news on this bug? On our recent LAN, we had several people unable to fly a mission because of an unresponsive throttle after reconnect…

31st & Belgian Virtual Tigers LAN
Last weekend the 31st VFS had its LAN event again; this time 3 pilots from the Belgian Virtual Tigers joined the show.
The report in the link below is in Dutch; but I am sure everybody will recognize some buzzwords. And the pictures clearly show the fun BMS can bring.
The pictures with explosions on the ramp are the result of a cool idea that our mission builder / commander Nighteyes had. Before we started the briefing of each mission, all pilots jumped in their seats, and pressed RAMP already. So, there was no waiting for everybody joining before each mission start. During the briefing of a large COMAO, all of a sudden the scramble alarm sounded, and we discovered our base was under attack. That resulted in some frantic rampstarts I can assure you!
