I just use MFDE and it works fine for me. It’s very easy to use and adjust

RE: Sidewinder loadout
I’ve been curious about this too. Any ideas why?
Is it simply because one is far more likely to fire 2x AMRAAM first, bvr before closing/merging … and aircraft will be more performant in dogfight with the wing tips unencumbered?
Or is it really about weight distribution … ie. moving mass away from the centerline, to reduce torque / flex on the wings and airframe?
I guess the question is – with AMRAAMs on 1/9 and 3/7 … which two stations do you launch first?
A-A Missiles are launched from inboard to outboard, A-G loadout is outboard to inboard

RE: BMS 4.34 Can Not Press Launch Button.
Have a look at the clock on the top right side of the map. If it’s stopped, set it to 1x speed (that fixed that problem for me on some TE’s)

RE: Using the warthog stick and cougar throttle
So how do I solve this ?
Or you can go with my setup…. Just leave the Cougar connected and put it somewhere behind your desk

RE: Problem with Mirage 2000 ramp start
Could it be that you have the slats switch in the wrong position?
It’s on the left console, just in front of the throttle

RE: Warthog Stick / Cougar Throttle
I got it working like it used to be.
I saved the BMS key file with a different name and in BMS setup and mapped the buttons on the stick and save the new key file.
Then i closed BMS and opened the key file with notepad and change the shifted keys

RE: Warthog Stick / Cougar Throttle
What if i open the BMS -Full-key file. It has the cougar selected as 1st DX device, also showing that in Windows control panel. Can i just copy the Cougar lines in the key file and modify the DX buttons to the Warthog stick?
For example: “SimTriggerFirstDetent 0” is the first button on the Cougar atm and “SimDoNothing 256” is it’s shifted state. Can i just copy and paste that line to the bottom of the key file as “SimTriggerFirstDetent 33” and “SimDoNothing 289”?
33 should be the first button on the second device and 289 = 33+256 for it’s shifted state.
I think Kolbe’s keyfile stuff is a little bit overwhelming at first sight

Warthog Stick / Cougar Throttle
Hi guys,
today i received my Warthog stick. I was planning on using the stick with the Cougar throttle, while leaving the Cougar connected at the back on my setup.
With the Cougar i was using Dunc’s DX profile and i would like to do so again. But how do i set it up like that?
iirc, you can only set up 32 DX buttons, the Cougar alone takes 27 already. Do i need to have and use “Target” for the Warthog and Foxy for the Cougar? Or do i need to combine them to a single device?
It’s been awhile since my last setup and it must be real simple, but atm i just cant see it

RE: Throttle inputs on taxiing not always being read?
Yep, having the same issue with a Cougar. Also happens on runway when you rev the engine up to 90% and letting it settle. If i advance the throttle to full AB, nothing is happening and need to do the full deflection before throttle responds again.
All axes in BMS and CCP work fine -
RE: CCIP seemingly can't get BLU anti runway bombs on target

RE: CCIP seemingly can't get BLU anti runway bombs on target
Can you confirm this by dropping 1 bomb only?
What changed in 4.33 regarding CCIP is that when more than bomb are to be rippled in the coming drop, the pipper doesn’t point anymore to where the first bomb will hit but it’s (Realistically) points to the middle of the bombs train
Hi,
are you sure about this I-hawk? Is CCIP different than CCRP in regards with ripple settings?
Regards,
FalconeerReason i ask, i just flew a CAS mission in which i dropped 12 Rockeyes in one pass, while having the 1st vehicle locked on in the column. Spacing set to 350ft @ 1250 BA and all bombs found their targets

RE: Where are the missiles?
You can also try mission 34, Surface to air missiles. It gives plenty of missiles for you to defend

RE: Kuwait Theater tester version 1 now available
Just out of interest, how far in are you to a campaign?
Hi Malc,
i’m at day 2 now 13.00h. Flying Block 52’s with the 40st squadron.
About the ATO, i just manually adjust the main objective and loadouts of all the OCA flights and they seem to do a great job now, pounding those airbases.Regards,
