Viper TQS HDG Controller
Re: Thrustmaster Viper TQS… what to do with the additional buttons?
I see that the Viper TQS Mission base has a HDG controller but not a CRS controller. Presumably the ‘Push’ feature is to switch between +/-1 deg and +/-5 deg increments. Would that need a '‘shift’ function to achieve? Also I would like to have CRS control so could it be possible to switch between CRS and HDG on same controller and still have +/-1 and +/-5 switching? Even after l this time I am still not familiar with programming & key files, something that I plan to change!

RE: YAME64 suite
There are some issues with YAME running with BMS 4.34 and 4.35
Here you find a workaround that may help
Yup that was it, missing 4.33 installation.
I apologise for my lack of RTFM diligence!
I should have found that errata page myself

RE: YAME64 suite
Any kind colleagues out there willing to help here please?
If just me then I would not be so pushy but at least 3 of us have the same issue and there may be more
Any assistance would be much appreciated

RE: YAME64 suite
Need some help here guys, YAME doesn’t ask for my BMS location after install and It doesn’t open the path for me to add it.
Any clues?
I have the same problem
PC running on Win 10
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no change -

RE: Mission 9 In-Flight Failures
In 4.35 when I try to start the Mission 9 TE Failures there is no way to click Takeoff after selecting the mission
I can select a non-F16 plane but not the F-16 Training Flight
I could not find a thread for this but maybe it was reported already? -
RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
Hello Falcas
Happy New Year!
apologies if someone has posted before (I tried searching the Thread) but I have just downloaded WDP 3.7.15.150 and when I try running the .exe I get the message
“This app can’t run on your PC”
I am running Win 10 and I tried to update Net 4.0 and Visual C++ but Win 10 tells me I have the latest versions and will not update furtherWDP 3.7.7.99 works just fine
I have no other versions of WDP to test to see where the version problem may have started
Please can you suggest a remedy?(Thanks so much for creating the excellent WDP though!)
JetlagEDIT: Problem solved, it was my Unzip utility corrupting the zipped files. All working fine now

RE: (new feature?) Aircraft in-flight problems… Avionics Shut down, losing HYD-Pr, etc.
Thanks LorikEomin
I refer to when we are in the Tactical Engagement page, we click on the TE that we want (in this case Ground Ops) and then bottom right we click on on “Commit”
This as opposed to the next screen where we click on the aircraft that we wish to select and then click on the “Takeoff” buttonWhere I have been having repeated issues is when I exit the Ground Ops TE back to the ‘aircraft selection page’ and select the Training aircraft for F-16 (not the F-5 of course) then proceed with the ‘Takeoff’ button
If I ‘Exit’ back to the TE Page, select Ground Ops, ‘Commit’ and then select aircraft and ‘Takeoff’ the this has seemed to clear the Fault occurrence. I have not repeated this enough times to establish any kind of reproducibility.
I should say that I am on 4.34 U3 not U4 but not sure if that should make any difference?

RE: (new feature?) Aircraft in-flight problems… Avionics Shut down, losing HYD-Pr, etc.
@Bad:
Make a “Reset FLCS” and run the FLCS bit test again
Thanks guys
However Bad Boy, as Suhkoi69 indicates in his FLCS Caution list above, if the fault occurs due to FCC/MMC Power not applied then “Reset FLCS” will not work.I am fairly sure that during one of my repeats of this TE during this session, that I must have remembered to switch on the FCC/MMC but the FLCS fault came up every time until exited the TE completely (back to the ‘Commit’ stage instead of the “Takeoff” stage. As mentioned in the training manual though, failing the FLCS BIT does not have any impact on the operation of the game.
Stranger still was the issue that I had yesterday.
I had PFLD failure warnings as follows:
1st TE Run:
After engine start:
CMDS DEGR
RWR DEGR2nd TE Run (from “Takeoff” Stage not “Commit” Stage):
After Engine start:
CMDS DEGR
RWR DEGR
Then the engine stopped and I had an “Engine” and “HYD OIL PRESS” warnings on the right Eyebrow Lamps3rd TE Run (also from “Takeoff” Stage not “Commit” Stage):
CMDS DEGRIn all 3 cases I had made sure that Main Power was selected; Fuel Master Switch “On”; Fuel Feed set “Norm”; Air Source set “Norm”
In each case the faults lit up after main engine spool up from “Alt+i” in other words after idle released. From keyboard not Idle Detent on throttle (which is not enabled on my throttle). In each case I had heard the audio ‘click’ after Alt+i and the engine spooled up normally past the 20% RPM.I do not have random faults enabled in cfg file (I checked after the previous FLCS BIT issue)
Maybe I am doing something dumb during my sweeps but I believe that I was being careful after missing the FCC/MMC enabled that caused my first FLCS BIT issue
Nobody else experiencing Random Faults when RandomFaults in cfg is not enabled?

RE: (new feature?) Aircraft in-flight problems… Avionics Shut down, losing HYD-Pr, etc.
Sorry for the delayed reply Suhkoi69 thanks for your response.
I do not recall if it was switched on or not, would that make any difference?
There was no warning in the Training Manual for FCC/MCC only that all switches on the FLCS panel should be in the ‘down’ position or it could produce a ‘fail’ on the FLCS BIT
