I’m flying campaign missions as a single player with AI wingmen, starting off with AA missions (BARCAP, SWEEP, ESCORT).
I realise that real life tactics with wingmen will not work with the AI wingmen, so my question is - is there any tips & tricks on how to deal with AI in such missions?

It’s for moving the manual reticle on the backup mode of the primary HUD or the backup HUD. BMS only models the latter. Set HUD to backup mode and see how reticle moves with knob. It’s for manual or backup bombing. In BMS the depression knob doesn’t move smoothly to every mil but in big chunks which makes it less useful.
But how do you it to bomb? I don’t think there’s anything on its usage in the manuals
Pls correct me if I’m wrong:
From what I read in -34 and also Training Manual, to use PB it is recommended that the active steerpoint be set to your PPT (since that’s where you ‘know’ the SAM is at)
But I find that in the briefing UI, using RECON page and pinpointing the radar site, I can’t set it as a PPT. It only allows STPT 1 to 24 and 81 to 99 I think.
So wouldn’t it be better to use an active STPT in the briefing UI, RECON and set the radar site as the STPT would be more accurate?

That’s my least used manual… but going to have to look into it more now.
Long time BMS user but never used F4Wx.
What I’d like to do is make a TE and use F4Wx with my TE.
I can’t find much info on how to use F4Wx, the most I found is the readme file in the F4Wx folder.
Anyone can assist in giving me the direction to find some documentation on using F4Wx pls.

In civilian aircraft something that can be operated electrically without the Battery Switch being On is getting power from the HOT BATTERY BUS - as long as the battery is physically connected, no need to switch Battery On.
Normally for super critical systems such as engine fire extinguishers.
In this case for the canopy maybe because it needs to be opened from outside and you can’t switch on the battery switch because it’s inside (like locking your car with the keys inside)
It’s the only mission type in a campaign where you go in alone, no wingman, no package, nothing.
