Iâm talking about the other thread where we discuss about the many rtfm replies given.
The manuals are for sure in a way better state but still newbs are newbs. With my post I just wanted to resemble your request to a Falcon request. So we could answer you rtfm all your hardware and software manuals and Google it to find a solution to your problem and donât bother us.
Maybe itâs a simplification but the principle is exactly the same.
So please donât ask again, find the solution by your self. Just joking m8.

OK the manual did mention adding -window and others but I can get it into a window anyway; the problem is to get it full screen. My video drivers are up to date ans as for re installing OS, I would rather avoid that as in spite of looking for days to find the OS dosc last used 4 years ago, I canât find it. Could upgrade to win 10 but effects other progs too much at the moment. So I am looking for another solution if possible!
Right click on launcher shortcut, âPropertiesâ, âshortcutâ tab (second from the left), âTargetâ field :
"XXX\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Launcher.exe" -window
I can get it to start in a âwindowâ both this way and through using the pit extraction profile settings. What I am trying to get is a full window the size of my screen and canât drag it bigger AFIK.
Use -window as a command in your BMS exe shortcut.
Not sure where"-window" can be added as a command in the shortcut. canât see anywhere to do that in properties.
Just for the other thread where rtfm is the subject, I should answer here to Google it and read and learn all involved systems, or just post links of manuals from which if he read them would gain knowledge and find the solution by himself?
Just a same example as a mavâs q.

If you are referring to my post, thanks for the really helpful input! Frankly it takes me enough to work out how to fly without having to do Comp Sc. I assumed; maybe my bad; that this was a place to get help.
I guess either no one else has this problem or no one knows the answer??
1. Get blank (dark) screen although Falcon pointer there (and music if enabled). Resolution goes down (to about original F4 res) and shifts icons from main screen to side screen.
2. Ctrl Alt Del indicates prog not responding
3. If allow external displays in config I do get a âwindowedâ launch but not full screen; in other words only starts up and runs in the smaller window.
4. Not running any other prog such as Helios or MFD extractor at moment.
5. Was working before yesterday!
6. Uninstalled and reinstalled F4 and BMS 33 and 33 U1 several times.
System in sig.
I guess I could check myself!:o
Just asking⌠can current profile be used on U1? (Sorry if I missed the info somewhere!)
OK found on -Ices BMS 4.33 ver.1.2. Have to just click grey area.
I note Weepop has left and right consoles on his as click ups. Havenât tried yet.
You have a point about the consoles mainly for ramp start; anything needed on flight only need to be in Helios. Aux left console does sound interesting!
Thanks! Did it and getting hang of it! I assume in theory it would be possible to have say left monitor with left console stuff, right monitor with right console and say the centre sections with a laptop (attached via spacedesk or similar) under the centre monitor which would be showing falconBMS?
Well I didnât see any setting âLayers window, unlock âPanel FRONT CONSOLEâ and select itâ but by just fiddling around I seem to have done it! Not sure I can repeat it but never mind! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
One issue though. It seems to âkillâ monitor 3 though. Mouse pointer moves there but just white creen and noting else (like MFD extractor) shows up.
This is what I get after I do as you suggest
Quote:
Old layout: 3(gray)-1(helios)-2(blank)
Assuming you have 3 as unused, 1 as your primary display, and 2 as your touchscreen, set it so that itâll show:
Monitor 1 ââ New Monitor: Monitor 2
Monitor 2 ----- New Monitor: Monitor 1
Monitor 3 ----- New Monitor: Monitor 3
This means itâll transfer 1(helios) to your Monitor 2, transfer 2(blank) to your Monitor 1, and keep 3(gray) as it is.
END
All my monitors are 1920 x 1080
As I hope you can see, part transfers to new 2 (old 1) and part stays in new 1 (old 2)
Is there a way to change in profile file?
The attached jpg shows the problem. Whether I change 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 I just get something on both 1 and 2. The only commands I can see are changing the monitor order, i.e. new monitor 1 to 2 or whatever. This seesm the case whether I reset b4 or after loading a profile. Why would one profile o-pen in 2 and the other 2 in 1??
(BTW, does changing ,monitors here actually change them outside Helios or only in the programme? In other words am I changing profile location or monitor location?)
I did âreset monitorsâ and the monitors are in correct position. The monitors are 3-1-2 l to r. -Ices BMS 4.33 ver.1.2 shows up on 2 where I want it but Ice-Weepop and Weepop-Ice show up on 1 not 2 where I want them.
Well more through accident than design (long story) I got your profile to show up on the editor. However while I get _Iceâs profile to run on the right monitor (2), Weepoppâs opens on 1. How do I change it to open on 2 or 3 or any other?
