Its string is too weak, and there is stiction issue. These cause problem for smooth operation even on simple taxi. My old Saitek Combat Rudder worked better. Now I use Baur BRD MS3, but for lower end rudder, which is enough for F-16, I would go for Saitek.

Another NVG mod with realistic FOV based on ANVS-9
NVG has FOV of 40 degrees both horizontal and vertical. Based on a photo of ANVS-9, taken by a pilot from his squadron, posted on DCS forum years ago.
I’ve created modified NVG masks to be used with BMS. Just put the one that matches your favorite FOV setting and your monitor aspect ratio into Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Terrdata\misctex.

RE: Realistic NVG mask and noise
I tried my hand on the NVG mask myself, based on FOV 40 and the pic that a pilot took of ANVS-9 from his squadron below (he posted on DCS forum years ago.
The result like this (FOV80@16:9 aspect ratio):
Here is the source image, but it’s needed to be cropped according to FOV and aspect ratio, and then convert to DDS file:
Feel free to do anything with it.
It’s 1200x1200. The center of NVG circle is at 600x500. Each 10 pixels represented 1 degree of FOV. So FOV 80@16:9 aspect ratio would be cropped to 800x450, centered on the center point of NVG circle.

RE: Realistic NVG mask and noise
I have my 2 cents about that. I thinks it’s possible using only 1 mask for all resolution.
If you put the mask in the upper center of the screen (blue line ) you can use infinite monitor resolutions (red lines) with the same mask.
I like the idea of using only 1 mask for all situation, but it should be adjusted according to FOV, not screen resolution. The circle should be big enough to show NVG FOV of approximately 40 degrees. The monitor is limited enough that I see no point of having to see less than the actual NVG IRL.

EEGS Symbology
There don’t seem to be much information on EEGS symbology in BMS dash 1 or 34. Where can I find such information especially MRGS and 5 levels? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Opentrack relative translation
This probably why TrackIR sometime has trouble returning to center with Trueview on. Those movement history algorithm must complicated things.
