OK it’s sorted, but I’m not sure of the technical details. I was looking through the Nvidia control panel and found that I still had a profile for BMS as well as for “launcher.exe”. I deleted the former and I now have my left MFD back.

I’ll leave the technical discussions on this to those who know what they’re talking about.

I get the feeling our new friend Gyro has some “downers” on BMS4.32. The rolling on its own has been discussed since day one, and is well documented in both the manual and these very forums.

I instructed my wingman AI to drop stores on the way back home as we were low on gas after a long flight. He gave me the wilco and drop stores call. Both landed back at base and parke next to each other and he still had all stores present.

What kind of stores? Because AAMs are never dropped.

See now theres a mna been down the same road as me. That fixes it right enough, but shouldnt it be working right from the off and not need a dance to get back to it?

Falcon has more dances than Strauss and Vivaldi put together.

There is a fix.

It requires the use of the LOD editor. A fellow walked me through it step by step quite a while ago. I have zero knowledge on how these work… so unfortunately I cannot do the same for you.

Its down to a driver issue and has been present right through the development of SP3 through to BMS. The throttle does not get picked up until it is moved due to it being one of the few controls directly linked to Directx input. Make sure you have the latest drivers and software available to stop half the issues. Ill add a list below of installs and where to get them from. It doesnt stop the throttle problem but it makes the whole sim more stable and smoother. This program was originally made in the 1990’s and has gone through many and vast changes since.

The company MAD CATZ have bought Saitek now and new drivers and programming software is available from their site, make sure you get the programmer to match the driver version you have installed, otherwise you will find that you get a program crash each time you run it. This applies to all users with windows Vista and above, XP users check out the archived drivers on the MAD CATZ site.

For the sake of safety please only download files from trusted sites or owners sites due to the amount of idiotic spam coders out there.

Using the BMS monitor extraction tool, I did not have any issue with negative values. It depends on which is you main monitor (origin) and the relative position of your 2nd monitor.

I’ll get that sorted, have to unpack the other two yet.

One thing I have found is i need a new mouse, its an old one and 4000dpi isn’t fast enough 😕

Yes unfortunately no magics here regarding FPS, people tend to believe what they “feel” which is usually not real… if you have higher FPS compared to some other theater/DB/scenario then the meaning is u have either lower res tiles, niff’ed some objects, simplified some models, terribly simplified some LOD distances etc etc… the default Korean DB is well balanced (for example comparing to ITO DB which is heavier because of all I mentioned above, and hence the lower FPS are expected).

Again we can discuss this till next month, but sorry no magics here.

Better to start with system specs. and which download version you are trying to run. I know there is a BMS 4.32 U1-U6 full installer. Is that what you are using?

It’s always reporting 0.

EDIT:
It’s occured to me that I may be incorrect about what this is, from the reference code it says:

// Ownship ACD index number, i.e. which aircraft type are we flying.

But now I am thinking that ‘index number’ is the position in the flight we are in (IE: 1 = lead)
