4.33 Issues (Known or not)

I have had to install and remove 4.33 now twice. I have had the same problem and it is possibly my own fault. In a local campaign with a block 52 F-16C scheduled for a DEAD mission briefing checking the load out, wanted to load a HTS pod, however there was no box to check it. When I selected the Targeting Pod, there were two pods on the aircraft. During engine start, taxi, takeoff, and enroot, I attempted to set up the A-G weapons and selected the AGM-88 powered ON and the HAD page was OFF. I noticed that the training mission for the HARM load out has the HTS pod available. I am wondering if there is something I do not know or if there is problem with the software. Any response would be extremely helpful.

You might had been flying the KF-16C 52 instead of the F16CM-52 that uses the HTS
The KF-16C 52 does not have a HTS pod. The KF-16C 52 also does no use the sniper pod, but the LANTRIN instead. The 2 pods you saw where the TGP and the NVP.
For HARM employment with the KF-16C 52 you will need to use the ALIC (Aircraft Launcher Interface Computer). This can be accessed via the WPN page while in AG mode.

For your second question. As I said above it was an accident. 4-5 seconds before release I was looking at tgp screen thinking it is zoomed in too much onto the target. Then I accidentally pressed on the wrong button(nws/msl step) which I should’t (pinky should be used here). Obviously the system was switched from ccrp to ccip……I had to switch it back quickly (within 2-3 seconds). Then bad thing happened as described above
For the video part I’d have a try. But I’m not sure if I can reproduce it

But nothing is any different from 4.32.
I was hoping for server going back to “Pause” after the last client disconnects.

I am enjoying the 4.33 environment extremely well, however, I have one issue which perhaps you can help solve. SEAD or DEAD missions use the AGM-88 which normally use the HTS pod to control the attack. This has been around for quite a while as in 4.32 if you used the ramp start and selected the HTS pod in the weapons load in the briefing page. 4.33 on the other hand does not give the option to Load the HTS pod. The text is there however there is no box to select it. If you select the Sniper Pod, then both pods are placed on the aircraft. During flight, when I clicked on the HAD and the MFD showed HTS OFF. It only occurs in a campaign which is unfortunate indeed. The training missions seem to be okay on this issue, which seems even more complex. Any advice would certainly be appreciated. This version 4.33 is beautiful and fast and highly detailed. It just breaks my heart that I cannot figure how to start taking out those pesky little SAM operators.

I have posted a specific thread for this, but have just found this thread too which I think is a more appropriate place for this. Can anyone help with the issue below:
I am having a problem with 4.33. Please note, 4.33 NOT 4.32 (which does not have this issue).
I am using an X52 with the cursor slew mapped to the mini stick via key presses (in bands) on the X/Y axis of the mouse stick. Again, this works fine in 4.32.
Also note that I have a completely re-written key file as I have a customised helios/X52/VAC set up. Under Zipguns instructions, I copied my 4.32 key profile (which worked fine in 4.32) into my 4.33.
However, in 4.33 the left cursor slew (left only) simply moves the cursor slew left continually. Inputting up/down/right will not stop this. The only way to stop it is to short press the left slew and then move the cursor in any direction. However, if you move it left (or even tap it a tiny bit left) it again just keeps slewing the cursor left.
I have tried pressing the key (F10) in game to see if its an issue with the stick - same problem (which at least proves my stick is fine - phew)!
Bands have been set at 20/60/80 and 33/33/33 and 40/20/40 no change.
I have turned off the (is it called DirectX function) in teamspeak, where buttons on the stick can be mapped directly to a key press. and swapped the drop down under ‘hotkeys’ to “keyboard and mouse only” - no effect.
I have tried to see if the button I have set for cursor slew left (F10) is clashing with any new keys - it seems not.
Can anyone help?

I have noticed two odd behavior in TE for IAM. I am typing in Dalsan Bridge coordinates on DEST page per instruction but also I am auto-steerpoint sequencing. I am in the middle of typing in numbers just as luck would have it I automatically pass STPT4 and STPT5 is next. But I am typing new coordinates for STPT5 and automatic sequence goes crazy changing through all steerpoints very fast. I think it is due to edited Lat or Long is being edited live and not as separated scratchpad value which is not in effect until submitted and validated with enter button.
Other is GBU-31(V)1 goes 1,500 knots on release. F-16 is going 500 knots.
In F-18 landing ATC reports QNH “13051” but value is really “3051” in Hg.

still what you report is strange. If coordinates are changed in LIST 1 DEST page, it should not be straight active.
STPT page is straight active.
Are you sure you made the chnages in DEST page? -

When you edited your bands, did you use an ‘Advanced Command’ button press? If so, are you using modifiers with your keys? I mentioned on another thread that I think you have to get the key sequence correct or you end up with a stuck key press (there’s a mention of this in the key file manuals). For example, if you were using ALT+LEFT for radar cursor slew, the sequence in the advanced command window should be ALT LEFT ALT LEFT - if it looks like ALT LEFT LEFT ALT then I think that causes an issue.

This is not a bug. F-16 rudder pedal movement animation is the same as 4.32. However, I wonder if it could be improved like real one.

I am still hoping on a reply for adjusting the FOV in 2D pit. Is it possible to adjust it or is it locked and I am unable to adjust the 2D pit FOV?

In A/A mode, it’s like I ain’t got no radar at all.It’s working and scaning (TWS and RWS modes), and though the AWACS give me posit of the enemy, I see no contacts on my radar FCR screen, not just the bandits, but frendlies as well, and sky is swarmed by blue warplanes all around (or at least I saw it so before take off)!
Is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong!?Never had this kind of problem in 4.32!Otherwise, bloody great job!

Yes definitely DEST page. I can repro in Navigation TR TE. On more testing it is wider than first indicated. Any time the DEST page is open (doesn’t matter if any line is half-edited or not) during auto steer sequence event the steerpoint on the DEST page rapidly increases (cyclic) after passage until the distance increases beyond 2.0nm. The current navigation steerpoint remains (does not actually sequence so AP flies in a circle). It’s just the selection on the DEST page that goes crazy.

Tried just now, so I can say I did it, with TU-95 in furball, elevated radar antenae up and down, still have no contacts on my radar screen.
Point is, I have no contacts both frendly and bandits, even when sky is filled with all kinds of aircraft, all around me, flying on all kind of flight level Angels 1 to Angels 25.In ACM mode, also no contacts shown, but I can achieve lock just because I used boresight and vertical submodes, so it locks on anything within the envelope.

Just to throw it in here. Even though this is not a 4.33 specific issue as both my buddy and I had this issue with 4.32 the wing rock bug is still in full effect in 4.33. Thankfully just like in 4.32 turning on VSync in the BMS graphics control menu tames that beast.
