ICP 'click' and Jettison questions.

Just another thought……
Is it possible to do this with DX buttons (string structure is different), as would be nice to get feedback from some of the shifted mappings.
-
Yes you can use this as a example: SimPickle 0 1097 -2 0 0X0 0
Just copy and paste the numbers and change the first zero to whatever DX button you want to map and change the 1097 to whatever sound you want it to play, look in the keyfile for the right reference for sound number.
I hope it works for you.

CheersAre you sure of that … because for OBS in example, each button has a diferent “sound number” but the sound played is the same for all of them…
?

Yes I did see that, but I use the same for all because I was lazy;) I don’t know why they are different really, I doesn’t seem to make any difference though. So in theory I can have whatever sound I want played assigned to a button of my liking, as long as I know what the sounds callback number is?
I just mapped my C mfd this way, no problem.Cheers

What I would like to do … is to make the keystroke’s sound corresponding to hotspot’s sound inside the virtual cockpit…
But I don’t know how to proceed!

Then you need a list to translate the keyfile soundnumber to a sound file, maybe it’s within the code? The keyfile gives you some numbers to use, some buttons and switches. One could do it by trial and error, start at 1000 and work the way up, cya next year;)
The different numbers for the OSB I can’t figure out, maybe it has to do with surround?Cheers

… I will work on that … should be ok!
Thanks for your help!

Hi all,
First like to thank developers for 4.33. excellent work!!I took the lazy way, and used the old Key file from my 4.32. And the sounds did not work from external input devices again.
I simply replaced all the ICP entries from in the old file with those from the new one, and sounds now working for the ICP.Might help someone…
Cheers
