Congratulations Gavin and the other generous people who contributed!!!
I didn’t really do much but Thanks for the mention. I’m out of deving now awhile, life bit me in me A$$. Once I get settled back in TN, I hope to get back to my Hobby!!!
Not sure how many of you guys know the Falcon history of this theater. But a HUGE amount of credit should go to ‘toonces’ for keeping this theater Alive over the years!!
Once again……Good Job, nothing like pulling through.
Cheers,
C9

There are many theaters- start (in the developing). Super candyeye etc… But they can’t create working campaign.
This theater is not pretty, but it works well!!Thank you Chuckles!

Holy s.h. to the it!! I didn’t even know this was in development. Thanx to everyone who had a part in this!!

C9, thanks for reminding me about Mike. I added his name at the beginning of the thread. In the manual, I made due note that his Free Falcon Divine Wind Cam files, which became the base for the BMS Kurile Conflict Campaigns. BTW, C9, your role was huge in this theatre. It was because of your hard work that the campaigns became winnable.
Speaking of the manual, I wish that everybody would take the time to read it all of the way through. Originally, when I reveled the manual to my team, I had concerns that history section was a little to folksy and focused a little too heavily on the life and times of Chuckles. Fortunately, I was convinced to keep the original text so that everybody could see all of the struggles, as a development group, we faced in order to get Kuriles to the point that it is right now.
Finally, 1.0 Kuriles is just the start of the show. More work will be done as time permits. My dream is to get Kuriles as authentic and beautiful as BMS ITO/Balkans sometime in the future.

Glad this was able to make it into 4.33!
I did read the manual and appreciate all the work involved.
Thanks so much for sharing your hard work…you guys ROCK!

Gentlemen, I am proud to release my Kurile Islands Conflict Theatre for BMS 4.33.2. The Kurile Theatre represents nearly five years of development from a wide variety of developers from this board. The theatre includes Custom UI artwork, terrain and three working land grab campaigns based on different historical time frames. I invite everybody to read the included manual so that can understand the struggles as developers we faced in getting this fantastic theatre in public release. First of all, here is the download link:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/ijwojimznozm36b/Add-On_Kurile.rar
Mirror courtesy of Blu3wolf:
http://falcon.blu3wolf.com/Kuriles/
Extract the file to your desktop. Cut and paste the Add-On Kurile folder into your X:Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data folder. Then, edit the theater.lst file in your X:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition folder and add the following entry: Add-On Kurile\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\kurile.tdf
Conversely, you can simply add the theater.lst file I have provided it you are uncomfortable with editing your theater.lst file.
I want to give a big thank you to all of the developers who helped me with theatre:
Revientor, EGHI, Neystratiou, Neozino, Radium, Cloud 9, Toonces and Starrats.
Finally, I want to give a really big thank you to my beta test team: Vagabonds64 and Jackal. Happy Falconeering:
This is great for Falcon BMS. Thanks to all involved. This is a refreshing news. Falcon BMS lives on.
Cheers to you all.Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

encounter some bug…
I picked the first cam, blue side F16-15 based at northeast Hokkaido, plan to strike a red army base , TO at 0907. once up in air and heading toward target for 1-2 min, screen freezed.
I picked the flights twice, all freeze. use ctrl-alt-del to restart pc.no crashlog generated.

Hi, thanks a lot for the campaign !
Can I ask a question about the weather ? Can you give us the coordinates (and UTC, etc.) for Zygrib, to put our real weather ?Thanks !
-
Hi Chuckles, thanks for this beautifull new theater,
I also have a question about the weather, in the briefing there is no weather info shown.
Is this something that can be easily fixed?Cheers
