Gear collapse during taxiing?
-
It can be a bug (non 100% flat pavement) reported some time ago and should be fixed next version. Could you confirm which Airbase or Airfield it was?
-
Yeah it was Samjiyon-Up in North Korea.
It is a base on high ground, i edited the map to make the area blue so i could fly from there. (i was curious to see how that environment looks like)
The flight was pure recreation.http://www.ravico.com/ST/Download/Checklists/Allcharts/Enemies/Samjiyon_airport.jpg

I had that happen once while taxiing at an airbase in PoH, but I was taxiing to takeoff and was less than 25kts when it happened. I figured it was a bug in the taxiway.

propably if the airfield aint fully flat, there might be a place where it has a slight elevation difference.
Also it could be the 3d feature. In Aegean that uses stock Korea airbases there is an airbase X shaped (Thessaloniki) that the taxiway in 2 places sinks in to the ground but no explosion. -
Wasn’t going to use the airbase again, so it’s fine by me.

Hello all,
I recently made a TE mission for landing to Samjiyon AB. Many times i broke the nose wheel.
I was thought because of hot brake. Is there any chance related to hot braking?
Thanks, -
Yes it could be.
-
if the problem arise always at the same spot on the same airbase (or same airbase type) then it’s NOT a brake issue
it’s a levelling issue -

There is indeed a bug in Samjiyon-up. Not able to check atm but I believe
Rw 05r in the beginning, Southern taxi way between alpha en bravo and inside the big hangar in front of the podium. -

Hopefully a airport designer resolve the problem. Thanks,
