The wingtip LAU’s in my model are rotated 1.5 degrees down. Looking at pics (thanks Thunder) I think it should rotate some more.
IIRC, I used 2.5 degrees.

Though I already reported it to JanHas, would like to share my impressions in case someone have same feelings about LVN3.
Maybe my sense is not right, and it made me to conclude wrongly.
I just want all of you to know, I don’t want to offend anyone, including JanHas.1. The Volume of Fuselage
After carefully looked at the model, I thought the internal volume of fuselage is larger than real F-16.
I supect that the taller top dorsal line induces the difference.2. The Attitude on the Ground
The most of real jets kneels/bows on the ground. However, not in LVN3.
I suspect that the compression of strut causes such attitude.
As JanHas pointed out in our communication, I do think it’s affected by amount of loadout and fuel.
But even in heavy configurations, like full of A-G weapons with 3 external fuel tanks, it’s still taller than real pictures.3. The Length of GE Nozzle
It does have unique shape of F110 nozzle. It’s beautifully curved, looks much better than LVN2 actually.
However, I think the length is could be better than the current one.
In my point of view, it looks bit longer than real GE nozzle.Again, thanks for your hard work, JanHas.
I’m enjoying your works throughout my entire flight simulator life. -
Quick question: Do i have to install these again (Lod editor and placing files into the folders) if I’m using a different Theater? E.g. Balkans?
I ask as the instructions all point to koreanOBJ… Not to sure how its structured.
Thanks

yes, repeat the install procedure for each theatre, unless of course the theatre uses the standard Korea files.

Isn’t it amazing that we can now compare small details to real world pictures? We’ve come a loooooooooooooong way since this!
I hope all these good suggestion will make an amazing model even closer to total perfection.

Hey Jan,
On the block 52 v4, the gear and nozzle are a little messed up.
-
FYI, I’ve aligned the images exactly on top of each other and they are exactly the same angles…

Send me a screenshot…

Disregard. I must had forgotten to install the 3d model with that one. I had the dat files and the skins installed….didnt notice that the 3d models werent installed. The landing gear was folding into the jet when the gear was put down and the engine nozzle was super wide open.

Installed the F-16CM-42 today. Looks wonderful, however it has SNIPER pod and no longer allows for TFR/FLIR with the LANTIRN pods. Is it planned to stay this way or can we get the LANTIRN pods back on the -42.

1. USAF has removed the NAV pods from the Viper’s fleet after Gulf war, thus the model is correctly modeled without the specific pod.
2. In-real the NAV pod can be combined with any TGP combination, Sniper, Litening etc.

The block 40 is ready! It’s even a bit more detailed than the block 50CM. The model comes with the same 5 squadrons as the standard BMS Korea theater; 35th FS ‘WP’, 80th FS ‘WP’, 36th FS ‘OS’, 510th FS ‘AV’ and 555th FS ‘AV’. These 5 have the standard USAF blue skins. I have added a single Have Glass 5 skin (2 top skins, check which squadrons use what top texture) with the 5 tail skins of the above mentioned squadrons that can be used to swap the standard skin. You can download it via my website: www.janhas dot net
