I have got a little problem here. I have installed FalconMFDServer (3.5.0.0) on my PC. The only thing which does not seem to work is to save the IP of my tablet. I put it in the IP of my tablet, but Server does not save it. When I reopen I always have 192.168.56.101 in it again. I’m running it as Admin. And if I enter my IP and try to message the tablet, it gives an error reaching it. Is there something on Windows 10 which might be blocking it?

The IP on the server is what your tablet app IP needs to match. In other words, do not change the server IP address…only change the IP on the tablet to match the server…then save the change on the tablet app. Once you close the app on the tablet and restart it, the IP on the tablet should still match the IP address on the server.

Thanks. Yes thats what I’m doing. The app works fine and accepts the servers IP. But on the PC program, if I put the tablets IP in it, I can’t message the app. And if I close and restart the PC program it always jumps back to the same wrong IP, which is not the one the tablet has as you can see in the picture

Try this. Skip the testing and just run the server and the app (with the server and the app’s IPs matching). What happens then? I am guessing you have already followed the instructions on the MFD picture on the server.

Thanks. Yes I forgot that BMS has to be running already before the server can communicate with the app. So it does not work perfectly reliable, but finally it worked. But now there is the next issue. While the MFDs content is displayed correctly on the app, I cant use the touch screen MFD buttons on the app. I hear the click and see the buttons being pressed on the app, but in the BMS cockpit nothing happens. I still can use in the cockpit the mouse to click MFD buttons, which also changes the modes in the BMS cockpit and the app accordingly, but not on the app. Any ideas?

Good to hear you are making progress. PM me your email address. I will send you my keyfile.

Hey,
I have some issues with this app, just wondering if you have the same and if anything can be done about it.
For information, I’m using this on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T530.#1: Buttons not aligned with text
The buttons are visually slightly off vertically on the sides.
See screenshot.#2: Hard to see SOI
It is very hard to tell which MFD is current SOI.There is the “NO SOI” indication of course, but it is lacking a visual feedback for which MFD is SOI as the white border is there all the time. (It is only slightly thicker on the SOI MFD)
Could you do something to make this more obvious?
For example remove the white border entirely on MFD that is NOT SOI?(I already contacted komurcu some time ago for the above points to tell him, but just want to check if you guys have same issues)
#3: Frequent lag
The display shows frequent and important (>2s) refresh lag at times rendering it somewhat useless in critical situations (eg locking targets on TGP or WPN).
Now this might be due to a bad Wifi connection of course.
I’m just wondering if there could be any other reasons?
Will TGP- or WPN-video require more bandwidth than say simple FCR or SMS pages?
Could PC CPU load be an issue?
Would it improve things if i connected the tablet via cabled Ethernet (with USB adapter) or is there some other bottleneck?regards,

Hi,
Thanks for the great app.
I´m playing 4.33(U4). Everything works fine, i just don´t know how to put SP, lines and threats like in this picture.

The software needed for what you see in Totiselles attachment can be found in Post #1 herein. You will also need an Android device such as an Android phone and or Tablet. I myself use two 10 inch Android tablets. Looks like he is using one 10 inch tablet and one other device which is smaller.

Ok, finally reading back some pages in the thread, i got my problem solved by replacing “0x” with “0X” in the key file. And reloading everything. Seeing that this is a recurring issue, it would be good idea to note this on the first page of this post i think.
Another smaller issue i see: When turning (for example) the ECM program knob on the tablet app, it turns on PC cockpit, but when turning on PC cockpit it does NOT turn on tablet app.
Is this a known limitation?
Not so much a big deal, but it would have been perfect if both were always in sync.Anyway, it’s very good app!
Many thanks!Komurcu,
I just replaced they key file with the latest version of the key file done by Gastone based on Morphine profile (BMS_Full_&_Morphine_paddle_swap.key). when I run Falcon MFD Server and FalconMFD at the tablet everything is ok but I have the same issue of logic: pressing the buttons has no effect, the incoming msg list says “(SimCBEOSB_20L) Key Does Not Match”.
Question, Should I replace all the “0x” by “0X” or only a certain number of them? the ones related to the Buttons.
Thanks in advance -

First congratulations for the app ;).
One question Any opportunity to add POH?

Hey, been using that app for almost a year, without any trouble so far. Since U5 though, or so it seems, the app seems to lag increasingly during the flight. I also noticed Mozilla Firefox was very slow, in terms of connection. Only restarting Windows (10) can fix that, every time. Hope it helps spot a problem. I reinstalled the app already.

i am not sure. but problem look like windows 10
my be you cam format and reinstall your Windows -
I’m still on win7 and also sometimes see “lagginess” in the ICP sending commands to BMS, but that’s not new with U5 and usually a restart of the android app fixes the problem for me.
All the best, Uwe

Also being on wifi is not the best for snap response apps.
