Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…

I confess I still like the idea of separate ground crew units for that sort of thing.

I guess it could quite easily be done separate to the the chocks; a new menu item could be added to accompany a new DOF/switch, but it’s just eye candy, so not an important ‘request’
-
hmmm. Tower menu could be upgraded a bit to include ground operations; then a new intercom menu could be added which would direct ground crew units - I would suspect it best not to make them part of the aircraft model, so not a DOF or switch, but a new model and new unit. Little more involved ramp start, and then arming/dearming at EOR.

How about better/more informative AWACS. I’ve been trying the DPRK Strong doing strickly air-to-air and I just feel lost. You ask for a picture it says multiple groups but only gives you the location of one and doesn’t tell you what they are. You can ask for vector to nearest threat and get info on type but only on the one closest to you (I assume anyways) and get this groups info even if they are bombers that aren’t out to kill you. I’m constantly locking and declaring but then I forget who’s who.
It would be nice if AWACS would give you a picture of everything within a certain distance of you, give you updates without you asking when a threat is getting close (even if it’s not the “nearest threat”) and offer location/info only on aircraft that are a threat to you, not bombers etc. and vector you to help others and vise versa.
(Sorry if this has been mentioned already, this thread is only 212 pages long.)

Page 2 of the AWACs menu will give you threat aircraft (fighters) and not a general picture so that is what you want to use.
I wonder if what you ask for could happen potentially if Link 16 happens……but currently you need to learn to build your own SA using the tools you have available, and it can be done…so AWACs, Radar, NCTR, RWR, TGP (long range visual ID in clear weather)…and the ability to remain cool enough to not shoot your own team!..remember you are the sensor fusion engine!
And lastly if you have a lot of bad guys near you then I can tell you now that is bad for your virtual health…avoid situations like that and others…

I mentioned that. I was saying that it seems to only give you the closest aircraft, even if you are already chasing it and have it locked up. This is very useless information. It would be awesome if AWACS could give you position info on other enemies or you could cycle through next farthest and so on. No matter how many times I request picture or vector to threat I get the same enemy jets even though there might by 8 or 10 within 20 miles of me.
but currently you need to learn to build your own SA using the tools you have available
You’re right, I’ll admit I suck at this right now. And as I said I’m trying the DPRK Strong and the skies are thick! I would probably benefit from building some TEs for practice and put this campaign on hold. I’m getting shot down more times then I land the jet, lol.
Another idea for the AWACS, the ability to declare a flight, as opposed to a single aircraft, with added info. Instead of “Declare” and getting “Confirmed hostile” say “Declare flight” and it would say “Confirmed hostile, Mig 29 four ship.” You declare a couple of 29s you think let’s go, you declare a couple of 29 four ships however, you might suddenly remember you left the stove on and hightail it home!

dont worry chevelle, you are actually asking for something very sensible. the awacs in BMS does not follow proper comms procedure; if it did, that would make life far more safe for the BMS pilot. its “picture” calls are a joke, and as noted it tracks individuals rather than groups. Loads of stuff to pick on regarding Air to Air comms…

Improve the UI in especially around the map…the precision level is too low in current version( difficult to distinguish the height of relief, forest…)
it will be necessary to allow :- to place easily & precisely a battalion to create scenario for TE
- to deselect some vehicles from column
- to get a accurate zoom
-
correct the heat effect out of the nozzle, and add the AN/Ale-50 towed decoy
-
when are we getting MALD and good SAM AI

Well, on my little own I’m still daydreaming of a full implemented 64 bit version of the executable, with a compete tasking separation between CPU (better if coupled with multicore facility enabling) and video card ones (just to leave them all the rendering work), adding directX 11at least or OGL, some online flight improvements and an advanced mission creator on that FreeFalcon style…
I tried to ask Santa about, but guess what… still no answer by him :uham:With best regards,

Here’s a notion:
Stop animating the in-cockpit throttle handle with the raw throttle axis value from the controller. Make it not move when the throttle is set to off and the axis value is varied. Animate the handle between the off and idle positions as appropriate.
Also add in off-idle and idle-off transition callbacks (one for each direction) which do not depend on the axis output value.
Make the throttle motion animation more complex (
) to reflect the handle tilt. -
We have SmallParkPt and LargeParkPt…
F-111 is big, but B-52, B1-B, etc. are really big!Can we have very large parking points (VLargeParkPt)?
TIA

Couldn’t you just space them out to get the same effect? C-5 is much bigger than both B1 and B52, he should get 2 vLargeSpots spots…
Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand this.
Osan e.g. has not a real parking range for the real “big birds” (AFAIK) and as you can see in the screenshot is there only a little range for those “big birds”. What if you have e.g. two flights with two F-111 and eg. two B1-B? This little range above can also hold F-111, but not those B1-B, which then have there noses fully over the taxiway.
But, if, also only two B1-B because of its span…The idea is, that the real “big birds” have their own parking points seperated, very large parking points.
In case of the pic, e.g., then the B1-B would have their very large range there, and e.g. F-111 have their at the smaller range above…Best regards
EarlybiteBTW:
HAs the F-111 really a SmallParkPt?
Where is ParkPt type defined? -

I think the request make sense
In stock Korea we have seen A-10 with their wings conflicting with hangars or blastwalls
An A-10 is bigger than a F-16 but not as big as a C-17 or a cargoIt’s fixable but not in an ideal way and therefore I do believe that having small, medium and large would be better than the current way to have only small and large
that way we could prevent the A-10 to spawn inside wolfpack flow at Kunsan for instanceunfortunately I am not sure that dev see the priority level of this one quite high
-
This is possible.
In editor you can define the max width-span for each type and each parking points. So this is fixable.

In general in filtering and searching and scrolling on those loooooooong lists like in Falcon Editor WDP and MC and Mortesils new tool and I don’t know were else, it would be nice something like that:
On this image results are filtered to contain the letter e:
Maybe u guys could collaborate and make it.
Edit: I believe it’s obvious by double clicking on a data line opens that record to edit the data and any child records. Also a button on the left could be used to add new record (crud). Though crud (CReate Update Delete) seems to be avoided in Falcon world specially the delete functionality.
Edit2: I forgot to mention that clicking on each field name it alters the sorting (Asc/Desc) which is also a very valuable functionality.
