Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…

Well, on my little own I’m still daydreaming of a full implemented 64 bit version of the executable, with a compete tasking separation between CPU (better if coupled with multicore facility enabling) and video card ones (just to leave them all the rendering work), adding directX 11at least or OGL, some online flight improvements and an advanced mission creator on that FreeFalcon style…
I tried to ask Santa about, but guess what… still no answer by him :uham:With best regards,

Here’s a notion:
Stop animating the in-cockpit throttle handle with the raw throttle axis value from the controller. Make it not move when the throttle is set to off and the axis value is varied. Animate the handle between the off and idle positions as appropriate.
Also add in off-idle and idle-off transition callbacks (one for each direction) which do not depend on the axis output value.
Make the throttle motion animation more complex (
) to reflect the handle tilt. -
We have SmallParkPt and LargeParkPt…
F-111 is big, but B-52, B1-B, etc. are really big!Can we have very large parking points (VLargeParkPt)?
TIA

Couldn’t you just space them out to get the same effect? C-5 is much bigger than both B1 and B52, he should get 2 vLargeSpots spots…
Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand this.
Osan e.g. has not a real parking range for the real “big birds” (AFAIK) and as you can see in the screenshot is there only a little range for those “big birds”. What if you have e.g. two flights with two F-111 and eg. two B1-B? This little range above can also hold F-111, but not those B1-B, which then have there noses fully over the taxiway.
But, if, also only two B1-B because of its span…The idea is, that the real “big birds” have their own parking points seperated, very large parking points.
In case of the pic, e.g., then the B1-B would have their very large range there, and e.g. F-111 have their at the smaller range above…Best regards
EarlybiteBTW:
HAs the F-111 really a SmallParkPt?
Where is ParkPt type defined? -

I think the request make sense
In stock Korea we have seen A-10 with their wings conflicting with hangars or blastwalls
An A-10 is bigger than a F-16 but not as big as a C-17 or a cargoIt’s fixable but not in an ideal way and therefore I do believe that having small, medium and large would be better than the current way to have only small and large
that way we could prevent the A-10 to spawn inside wolfpack flow at Kunsan for instanceunfortunately I am not sure that dev see the priority level of this one quite high

This is possible.
In editor you can define the max width-span for each type and each parking points. So this is fixable.

In general in filtering and searching and scrolling on those loooooooong lists like in Falcon Editor WDP and MC and Mortesils new tool and I don’t know were else, it would be nice something like that:
On this image results are filtered to contain the letter e:
Maybe u guys could collaborate and make it.
Edit: I believe it’s obvious by double clicking on a data line opens that record to edit the data and any child records. Also a button on the left could be used to add new record (crud). Though crud (CReate Update Delete) seems to be avoided in Falcon world specially the delete functionality.
Edit2: I forgot to mention that clicking on each field name it alters the sorting (Asc/Desc) which is also a very valuable functionality.

it would be…. fixed and improved Dogfight Mode:
1. Fixed: Missing tail during respawn.
2. Fixed: Aim-120 lodaout.
3. Posibility of changing the weather.-
For the Tail: personnaly i have the problem only a few frames, then the tail goes back. Are you saying that the tail remains invisible for you ?
-
changing weather in DGF module will add big complexity in a code that is already extremly complex. I will (and haved actually) setup DGF module and IA in Fair weather, which is far better so that you can actually play with clouds

Agree. Dogfighting in cloudy weather condition can bring us new tactic possibilities = more fun.

It’s only missing while respawning. Maybe not a big deal and meticulous part of me is exaggerating but since this topic is named: “if you….”, I will put that “neat freak” request/wish here.
What about Aim-120 lodaout? Any chance to address that? -

I would like to see you be able to transfer control of a Tanker in MP flights without having to back out and request fuel again. I’ve been doing a lot of AR Training with some newer players in MP lately, and it’s a real pain to have to back out all the way then come back in to cycle more than 1 person through. Would also make it much easier to be able to demonstrate proper positions, or get on and grab a little gas to keep the orbit going while the newer guy backs out to give the hand (and nerves) a break.
1NM isn’t so bad, but a lot of newer guys are afraid to come at the tanker with any kind of real speed to get into pre-contact with the confidence they will be able to slow down in time, so just backing out for some newer players becomes a rather lengthy process to get back in position. If you could transfer the tanker forward AND backward in flight order, that would be amazing, and save a lot of time and frustration.
I don’t understand … what do you mean about “without having to back out and request fuel again” (?) I case of accidental disconct, you should jsut have to go back in pre-contact position then hit “Y2” to be cleared again for contact. (A long time I didn’t disconnected from the boom in MP, so maybe I am missing something?)

Remove the lights that appear on wings at night. It is a problem for immersion and pretending they have some kind of lights on for a reason gets old, especially when dog fighting or attacking.

??? Maybe I misunderstand, but can’t you just turn them off on your Ext. Lighting panel???

No. At night when an a/c is at a certain distance, two white dots appear on the wing tips. I was told that is just how it is. I asked in the Balkans thread because that is where I noticed it.
Fly at night in high visible traffic or watch your flight join you and you should see it. It took me a while to notice it, but when I did I started seeing it more. It is really bad when attacking with a big package.

IIRC, it is actually a LOD issue … I do not remember if it is concerning all aircraft (?)

I would tend to confirm, Dee-Jay. I have been flying the Hornet C with the Stinger skin…no lights
