Update
The 100 little PCB’s came in today. I immediately fired up the soldering iron and started cooking.
The complete set TQS and stick are fully functional with the hall sensors.
Just waiting for some other parts to do a production run.
Pricing will be available soon. -
I guess the kits will be for complete stick & throttle upgrades? I’m only really after a throttle sensor, my stick gimbal is shot & I have a fssb requiring a minor repair to go back in & plans to buy a VKB Gunfighter Pro so I have no real use for the stick sensors.
-
It will be a separate sales tqs, stick or as a kit.
-
Nice work Redneck! Increasingly looking forward to the tqs kit with every pot-spike I get:eek:
-
Great work, can’t wait to get my hands on one. you da man!
-
Count me in for a throttle kit. Will I still need the Tusba after the update?
-
Count me in.
-
Count me in, too!!
-
+1 for the throttle pot (2 required)

Great news folks, received the beta test kit for the stick today, it works A-MAZINGLY!!! It was plug and play with no extra care, calibration and of to the sky! The precision of control is more akin to a warthog rather than the default pots in the cougar ever were! Eagerly awaiting for the throttle sensor beta kit. It wont be long now til the full final release is available for purchase…
Side note, redneck there was some slight resin/silicon overflow/residue in one of the two sensor housings at the place where the magnet contacts the housing. Just scraped it carefully a bit with a tiny screw driver. Thats it. Everything else worked as expected!! Many thanks mate!!

You will only in a tusba if you want to plug the throttle to your pc independently of the stick.

Good to hear it works for you, the residue is hotglue.
It is used to give the wires extra suport where the wires go in the pcb.Currently working on the throttle sensor, it worked on my end. Two guys got the throttle sensor and reported it was not working as expected. So digging into it what the problem could be.
Keep you posted. -
Great job. I need 2 systems for my tqs when it s dispo to sale.

Keep you posted.Could it be that the different voltage issue between different TQS’s is to blame here? I know you switched to a different sensor but perhaps different voltages than what you use mess it up?

Every time I read this thread title, “Here is a nice 3d printed HAL sensor”, I think we’re building one of these:
