Rudder Petals Saitek or Thrustmaster
-
I bought the CH pedals. Very happy with them. However, I have nothing to compare them to.
-
Have some thrustmaster TPR pedals coming tomorrow, tried the thrustmaster TFR (entry level) ones and they lasted less than a year so I’m back to my CH pedals I’ve had for over a decade…they won’t die. But I hate the sliding action that most pedals have…hence spending over 500 for the TPRs, hope they last as long as the CH ones.
-
Yes, I use racing pedals, the clutch and throttle. Works perfect.
How do you get that to work? When I try my setup, it only works with brake/throttle. Would use it if it would work with clutch/throttle. My clutch is picked up by Falcon in a way not useable as its moving rudder of center in 0 input.

I have had my Saitek for about 7 years now never had a problem. They still work well.

Hello Stevie,
Open CH Pro Pedals, and see what’s wrong with them.
I think the CH factory is in your state, back in California, contact them, explain their problem to them, say that you have this rudder for many years and that you like them a lot, who knows.
CH Products, send you new rudder.
Who knows at CH Products, have someone fly BMS.
In the US it is much easier to solve these situations.

OK I have a set of CH Pedals so I connected them but only left and right rudder works no toe brake. Could some give me a step by step up.

Did you enable virtual rudder in configuration options?
Description: This is ONLY for people who use racing wheel pedals and are NOT able to combine them into one axis via the wheel’s drivers.
By activating this option AND assigning the pedals to Break and Right Toebrake axis in the UI, the sim will emulate a rudder axis by combining the inputs of these two devices. -
Another suggestion to consider CH pedals. I’ve had mine for many years, work great.

I have had the CH pedals for over 7 years and recently bought the cheaper TM pedals and used them for awhile. After one month, I went back to the CH pedals. Enough said. When I recently had an issue with the Ch pedals, they sent me a replacement part at no charge (and no instructions).
-
I’ve had the cheap TM pedals for a couple of years now.
No problems at all on the mechanical/software side but the pedals are too near to each other. -
I got recently this pedals:

Three hall sensors - rudder axis and two toe brakes. Works like charm. Guy already knows how to sell it abroad and how accept paypal. I can only recommend it. Metal construction with ball bearing and best is - no potentiometers at all. Flying them in BMS and DCS and I am happy. It has little less “pronounced” center as pedal axis is spring loaded so just set bigger dead zone and perfect.
Local price for “sport” pedals is 3400CZK - around 132 Eur + be prepared for postage extra.

Thanks for the info. Haven’t thrown my CH pedals out and I’m pretty happy with my Saiteks for now, but in the future I’m very serious about a set of these for my cockpit -
…their ICP is already ordered and nearly on it’s way!

I got recently this pedals:
+1 I got a pair of these on ABs recommendation, and can only recommend them

This is an option in the falcon configuration within the launcher app not in game.
