4.35 BMS Document release
-
8. NEW DOC folder structure
To be updated.
-
Thank you Red Dog and BMS Doc Team for tremendous effort for making all of manuals above.
I, as a 3rd party developer, particularly appreciate for newly added Technical Manual which includes a bunch of useful informations for both end-user and developer. However, I would like to see some missing, additional development note for cockpit development. I’ve mentioned it in here before.
-
No Reply = No intention to support 3rd party model maker?
BTW, I have to mention that the LOD export plugin for 3ds Max is out of date. The latest version of plugin is for 2013. Thus, it prevents talented people a.k.a new comers to try something on it.I know you guys are working for free. I would appreciate even if the comment is like “We have no time for doing that”. It will totally works for me.

Easy there
24h is a bit fast to “demand” a response
1. In case you haven’t noticed we’re pretty busy managing the forum with the fresh release
2. it’s also Easter week end here - I understand that from Japan it’s a bit obscure to you, but ppl in the world have priorities with their family as well
3. You may also understand that we have no idea what you are talking about and may need a bit of time to digest information that is fresh in your mind, but not ours
4. It sounds like you are demanding, that’s probably not the right way to approach us - and being impatient and careless of our priorities is not either…
5. It’s not like the next version of the manuals are going to be released tomorrow so where is the urgency answering you?Be a bit less impatient if you can

I’m sorry if you feel I’m demanding for you or BMS team. I just re-stated that situation we, 3rd party 3d makers having after the major update has been released.
I remember that someone on official side mentioned Falcon BMS is community mod. It’s great you guys give us the chance to mod the mod in various ways. I appreciate for that. And if you have time, please read my post again. I’m not “demanding” you at all.
I’m just a 3rd party developer as I said. So it’s all up to you, always. -
Thank you Red Dog and BMS Doc Team. Great job :clap2:

Hi PeCa Chuck!
No Reply = No intention to support 3rd party model maker?
In fact it is rather:
No Reply = We had no time for it over other work in progress or more simply, we are not at home and didn’t had any ways/opportunities to check the forum and read all the new 150 posts since our last connexion even if/when we are doing our best to support.

first posts edited
added links to the cover artwork in case you want to add a nice cover to your own printing job -

Okay, got it. Thanks, Dee-Jay.
I’ll wait for further update in the future if it will come. -
Fabulous documentation from the team.
I would have liked to see it available in epub or mobi formats for phones and tablets too…. just a little wish.
My own attempts to convert the PDF’s do work, but they are nowhere near as good as the originals. The intial list of contents gets mangled but most of the text and images are clear.

I’ll wait for further update in the future if it will come.… yeah … but I doubt that manual will cover Dev notes on how to create cockpit. This is something the Doc team do not really master AFAIK. We can’t provide global the stuff otherwise we won’t be able to live anymore.

Have to do some homework!!! :rtfm: Great stuff man! Thank you

Hi CAG,
Just wondering where you got the BMS 4.34 documents printed in such a nice manner (as shown in your attached picture)? Can you please PM me a link where you got yours printed?
Thank you.
P.S. Your PM box is full. I could not PM you because of that. You should clear some space.
