I donโt know whatever you think you are doing, but that isnโt 3D terrain and that isnโt a simulator. A simulator is where you can initiate combat as in war, where objects are placed ON the ground and vehicles are driving over it. Falcon maybe has old technology, but Falcon is a sim from A to Z which you can fly and enjoy for years.
Whatever you are doing, that isnโt a sim, that is a joke. Your tries to try and sell me crap wonโt work because you donโt have the source code and without that you can only play a wannabeโฆ so are you trying to tech me anything? you are taking yourself too serious
And yet, with all your SUFA Block III crap, you still need poor Falcon models to operate? :mrgreen:

Itโs not a theater, itโs a relatively flat 3D model with high res textures to some extent. If you look at the most advanced flight sims in the world (e.g XPlan, P3D) that work with photoreal textures, you will understand that there is a huge system inside the engine that is taking care of the LODing and swapping. Throwing some high res picture over a flat model which isnโt real terrain, that is easy.

for 3d terrain with 4k runways - like never seen befor - our runways are more accurate and looking better than the best FSX runways and airbases of Civil Airports.

Can you show me your 4k runways, please? Not from high altitude, from takeoff view. -

You forgot that the runway is not only its length ( 2500m) but also its width (60m? for e.g.?) So 50 diffrent tiles xโฆ? Are you sure of your calculations?

You gotta think out of the box . Now You know a little about how we made it possible more than 4096 tilesโฆ we dont use tiles. we use diffrent waysโฆ but now you say - wellโฆ this โDiffrent Wayโ is only possible for Flat Terrainโฆ well - itโs very complex to build a 6 million diffrent metersโฆ but - once you know how to do thatโฆ and its indeed FLATโฆ you can try to take to a 3d โฆ

2. Iโll tell what is real terrain - Real terrain is first made of geometry, showing mountains in the size of Falcon mesh and talk about it as 3D of something โnew and so much advancedโ, that is a joke. Real modern terrain engine will show very high resolution. What you show is VERY flat, sorry.
3. You speak of the 4096 tiles as it is some kind of thing you can hack, you speak of BMS terrain as you found a way to make things โsmarterโ, again. But you donโt, you are possibly showing fake tiles of very small area of a theater where you used the 4096 on and put nothing everywhere far from the camera.
4. Your terrain is a fake cause you have no objects anywhere on it, no objects, no structures, no trees, all I see is flat tileโฆ for all I know it could be some kind of a huge 3D model which you spreaded 100s of textures on.
5. I know how GPU work, so your tries to sell me some crap like โ0 tilesโ or infinite number of pixels, that is just a stack of bullshit. If you render a texture, it MUST be in GPU memory, there is no such thing as โ0 texturesโ or any crap you try to sell here.
6. Be humble, itโs the only way to make real stuff that counts.
You want to be a real developer? Start by releasing your skin to the public, that will be a start.
