Terrain editor 3.6.9
-
Working perfectly here
-
When I try to upgrade to version 3.6.9 kaspersky recognizes it as dangerous and deletes it.
Someone has the same problem ?False alarm for sure.
With Avira antivirus, it is just fine on my side ;).
As with any updates by Sakis of his program.

I am getting an error saying it can’t find the CT.xml file

I used to have the same problem with Avast antivirus….so I had to turn off Avast - installed update - turned on Avast (I also put terraineditor to exclude list, Avast loved to send my terraineditor exe into quarantine)
-
I dont have an anti-virus on my machine other than Windows Defender and it is de-activated.
-
Same unfortunately here, Cougar.
I got in sequence an ‘errSubscript out of range’ and a ‘Could not load HDR file’ warning messages in return.
With best regards.
Jackal If you didnt solve this problem , just manualy choose theater again in theater drop list of terraineditor .

Thanks for the hint, but I repeated the procedure without any result.
Could you kindly describe what steps should I follow, please? Just to be sure I haven’t misunderstood something, you know.
Thanks in advance, with best regards.

Ok, I fixed it. Delete Terrain Editor including registries (with Revo Uninstaller). Re-install from scratch and it works fine.
-
Thanks a lot, Mystic!
Doing so would be useful for me too, I guess.
With best regards.

I did some more testing and noticed that if I try to open a theater path manually, I get the “Could not Find the CT”. If I choose the theater from one of the ones in the list, it works fine.

Check hotfix
Nope…I still get the “Could not find the CT” when I try to manually open the .tdf file
-
Disregard….I wasnt setting the BMS version in the drop down. It works now. Thanks for the update!!!
-
FYI terrain editor update to 3.7.0
-
Yeah that was with 3.7.0. I wasn’t selecting the BMS version when I did a manual open. That was the issue
-
Too bad 3.7.0 is not backward compatible.
Loading 73 version files does not work anymore
Or something else, but loading a te_new.tac is not working anymore.Gr Falcas
-
On top, the changelog does not mention the following.
BMS 4.34 support…
Does this mean reading XML DB files now? I don’t think it is.
Mission file version support?
3DDB support for both “old” (<2GB) and “new” (>2GB) database?Gr Falcas
-
It reads xml and v100 files. Also supports more than 2gb
