Not yet but the the limit will be between 60-75k
We should push limits since hardware has advances so much. Of course there will be a lower spec version for lower performing systems. Just lots of work to do this!Im wanting to redo the exterior of the F-18C man! Love all navy Jets, did 9 years in the USN!

IMHO … better is to ask them sooner rather than later …

I am sure that for peoples here do not have soooo many FPS in game, yet, if they monitor their CPU and GPU with Riva for instance, both are not running 100% …Up to you mate … but be careful: That things are maybe not as intuitive or trivial than we could imagine. Imagine if your game falls down to a slideshow because of a DX/code bottleneck … (???)
IMO, better safe than sorry. Especially for such a big and ambitious project!

Very true!! Going to make sure its as optimized as mush as humanly possible. Its indefinably a huge project!! I keep finding inaccuracies in my work that I try to fix daily! I study the Reference and keep going. We will all be happy in the end!

Man the F-16 is why I fell in love with aviation when I was a kid.
on a side note:most of the details will be balance toward what we look at most when flying!

and a question! You mentioned about texture color limit because of direct X version. Is that possible to change your cockpit color when BMS graphics engine is changed to DX 11 or 12 or other higher version we might have in the future?

hopefully they work now!
Yes, Adjusting maps will be easy. I hope we get DX11/12!? If that happens we will be able to do amazing things digitally regarding effect and model surface details!!

I dont know why DCS cant get the exterior model correct!
There is is no hump on the DCS model aft or the canopy. see this at ( 0:13 ) video time code -

ignore the new Reytheon panel mod. Not happening.
Some block 30/32 have it though. And BMS has some block 30/32 aswell
so unlike what some may say, it is not entirely unrealisticHave a look here:

Sorry for the off topic, but do you guys think that this panel can be added as a mod, like the block 40/42 HUD mod that was present for 4.32?
If so, I’m willing to model it and create the graphical art for the missing instruments.
