Rypley's Hangar

I can see that the Block 1 cockpit didn’t have a laser arm switch at all although those upgraded to Block 10 etc might have got one but again Block 10 and under didn’t have the cheek hardpoints.
As far as the manual says, the don’t have it.
Extracted from the official General Dynamics F-16A/B Manual -
I see, so by 1984 it looks like the laser arm switch was on the Block 15 cockpit diagram. Suppose that makes sense now with the cheek hardpoint provisions in place.

indeed, i guess the wings weren’t the only place where more hardpoints were added
This cockpit combined with a F-16A model by Janhas would be perfect. Kee on your amazing work.
Janhas is making a F-16A model? how come i never heard of it…

Sorry for misleading you. I just wish Janhas would make an A model to combine with your cockpit.

Are you doing the Block 10 pit Rypley?
-
A’s are somewhere on the far list.

The front panel is almost ready, next thing might be the Hud radiator located above the ADI and Speed indicators.

21:19 to 21:39 may be slightly helpful in determining the avionics of F-16A…

Well… on my little own, I would be better to put me in standby here.
All that glitters is sometimes also gold, I mean. :lol:With best regards.

49:58-49:59 has some information on the SMS page as well.
Hope this helps! -
Thanks a lot, there’s not much info on F-16A avionics.
-
Thanks guys! really hood info!, although i may not do avionics, it’s still contains visual info about the cockpit’s overall shape.

i give up, i’ve been trying to model the glareshield for days now, i’ll have to start findings some free 3d models out there now. i guess next thing to model it’ll be the lower pedestal
that shading problems is making crazy -
Normals… yeap they are bitches… I’m fighting those also… but most of the time they win…
-
Maybe take a break from glare shield and do some other part then you can go back to it. It’s a good way fighting the frustration when your project got stuck.
Maybe so other 3d artists can give you some hints. Anyway, pls don’t stop. -
