Electronic Flight Bag

Would it be possible to download data from WDP into EFB?
-
You can save the WDP DataCard which generates jpg images of the WDP pages. As EFB is a pdf you might add these a pages with Adobe pro or any other off creator program.
Technically would be even possible to write a programm to do those steps automatocallyGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk

Would it be possible to download data from WDP into EFB?
Flight preparations and flight itself calls for a toolbox consisting of sever tools.
WDP is a dedicated briefing tool for a certain flight at a certain date.
EFB is an electronic library of all data relating to the BMS F-16 and a specific BMS theater.
It has a rough briefing tool and a notes taking page but that’s it.
So…prepare for the flight with one tool and use the other tool for more data as needed. For example: share the WDP relevant output with your flight members to prepare for call sign, schedule, weather, load out, freqs.
All along expect your flight members to have relevant plates, AFB and navaid freqs, and any needed data at their grasp within seconds with the EFB.Don’t forget…the EFB is there to replace the HUGE heavy bag full of books and maps pilots used to carry to each flight.
The briefing is only a few sheets of paper they take with them just before the flight and its data is relevant for that specific flight, as planned, with basic data. -
Ehm, nice summary but that we already know

Nice work. Thank you.

For anyone having trouble with the bookmarks/shortcuts: use Adobe Acrobat. Now to find something to strap it on my knee…

Hey folks,
the advanced functions may only work with Adobe Reader on tablets.
I am using an iPad with Good Reader, Foxit Reader and Adobe Reader. Sadly the script works only with the Adobe Reader properly.@micro_440th
the link is in the first post or here:

This would be amazing to be updated for .36!

@DUSTOFF17
Indeed. I don’t know what @EuKeule is waiting for. -
No hurry….
It’s almost done and will be tested in our squadron. Once the new EFB is stable (and maybe bug free) I will release it. -
@EuKeule Love your work, thank you!

The EFB 3.0 for the BMS version 4.36 is released.
You can find the download link in the first post. With the extensive changes for the airfields in South Korea and Japan, errors are more likely. So if you find something, please post it here.
