I know it’s light weight to some out there, but I hit 900 campaign hours with this logbook today. A HDD failure almost two decades ago erased about 300 hours from a previous logbook. So I can’t prove that Thanks to BMS Devs for many years of joy and many more to follow. Here’s looking to 1000

For god sake, please use those screenshots for Website Gallery https://www.falcon-bms.com/gallery/ instead of the monsters screenshots we currently have (they are utterly flat, no perspective, they have nothing! it is a shame to present the software like that.)
Guys … please post here your best screen in high resolution (1080p 1920*1080) so that Max can use them for the Gallery.
That’s your opinion bud. I’m sure all those who contributed their screens, myself included, are deeply appreciative of your comment.

where is the Tanker?
where is the ground?
where is the manpad?
it’s unplayable on a dark night!
-
@suhkoi69 yes sure exactly like in real life
-
@suhkoi69 Where are your NVG?

View “0” … rotate, Screenshot key … this is not enough to make a great screenshot.
I can do some photos with my smartphone, I do not consider myself as a photographer.Depth, perspectives, background, framing … etc … are lacking.

@Bad-Boy , to be honest, impossible to see the tanker even with NVG before being pre contact position !
IRL, NVG mustn’t use for refuelling …but they are also useless because they do not allow you to see the tanker despite all the lighting available !
really, this is undoubtedly unplayable : this is the point that has not enough improved to make more immersif the full dark night flight …once in contact position , after much effort, even the big light of the tanker does not illuminate anything.
as I already mentioned, the NVG FOV are wrong ( 30° in game vs 40° IRL)
the NVGs are also of poor quality in game : not at all like 3rd gen !
I don’t see the tanker as well as here
without NVGs, the slightest light is clearly visible with a dark night, like strobe lights…pity, it is not yet simulated
clearly, this is the observation we had with WTAC Griffons members yesterday
Now, I shall keep my fingers crossed that some new improvements are implemented one day …

@suhkoi69 Agreed, aircraft exterior lighting is too dim, including without NVGs from at least my RL civilian flight experience (except for military dim setting possibly) and also my RL NVG experience (non-flight though). That’s not even a 3rd Gen issue with the bright staring/halo effect on lights. I would agree to an extent that it doesn’t replicate 3rd Gen quality, remember if it is a true 0 illumination situation (no moon, overcast, away from urban lighting), they won’t have any light to amplify in the first place.
Also your NVG FOV is fixed but if you zoom out your BMS FOV some so can be correct (or not). It’s an issue for a lot of FOVs basically. You could always enable full screen NVG for lower FOVs and not loose much realism points. As we discussed in some of the night/NVG threads, here’s a somewhat better diagram of 40 FOV in RL (will try to sort out hosting later):

Unedited, on final at Osan after the AGM-65 TE. The weather and lighting are real nice.
