Hello,
all my F-104 were updated, following ccc1tw recommendations :
https://www.mediafire.com/file/wxtmhrlhlfohvwh/F-104_series_v1.4.rar/file
All the bugs were fixed, and little updates were achieved on the LODs and on Acdata files.
yes bugs are nailed. well done.
BTW package with cockpitwing models would be great.
All 104 pit will be there soon

J-20 :
i just notice that the dragchute door is set as landing gear.
it always opens when ac on the ground and closes when gear up.also the dragchute is not visible when deployed.

Btw @TOPOLO
have you determined the root cause for some A/C lifting of the ground quite late, or not at all yet? It seems that flaps and slats on ground at least contribute to that phenomen. I’m still inclined to believe that the landing code has an impact. On the EF2000 I noted that beyond ~140 kts the nose gear compresses and thereafter pitching up becomes difficult. Before that point is reached (nose gear compression) the nose may pitch up and at some point the A/C lifts off the ground, still may take a while before the aircraft actually lifts off. I have not yet messed around with the gear data here. Some further trials are certainly required to chase down the exact course. I mean to remember that this issue was at least partially present in 4.35.

We’ve seen that before in other jets. It was an acdata issue, if memory serves CG was involved.
Update: Confirmed, and Type Aircraft could be involved, too -

Update: Confirmed, and Type Aircraft could be involved, tooCG sounds reasonable. Atm we are talking about default ACType 0 and CG loc 29. Might have to do with the LOD centre not matching. I’ll give it a try. As said removing slats out on ground and flaps helped already. Previously the aircraft’s nose didn’t pitch up below 200 kts, even clean. Now it does, but only if the NLG is not compressed already. If it is it takes almost 250 kts to get airborne . If I rotate at around 130-140 kts the nose pitches up, but its only around 180 kts that the aircraft lifts of the ground. I’ll do some further testing on this.

Update: Confirmed, and Type Aircraft could be involved, tooits coming from a Microprose bug in a hack, that has been revealed by the possibility of BMS to have “tilted” aircrafts on ground
I’m working on it.

@ccc1tw Hello,
as far as I saw it, it’s always opened on the ground.
For dragchute, I didn’t made a specific model for it.
Do you have some picture reference ?

i think it only opens for maintenance. place it under dragchute switch is good.

i google pic with " j-20 dragchute "

Thanks a lot for the F-14 note.
But please excuse me: which voice has to be modified in those fm files, please?
I found them in those .dat ones, instead.
Almost sure I am wrong about that, but the same…With best regards.

@white_fang
Oh, nothing in particular. I was to find the way to make the F-14s to refuel in a more realistic way, but after seeing what ccc has in mind… that’s all. With best regards.

Hello,
I am very happy to publish tonight an extensive update of my J-20 to v2.0. Here is the changelog :
- Addition of parachute to improve aircraft realism
- Attempt to make a non static parachute set, animations were inserted
- Rework of slots coordinates, especially side bays
- Rework of bays opening speeds, to avoid contacts
- Update of PL10E, to have proper flame and accurate position
- Rework of refuel drogue
- Various Acdata improvements
- Addition of the “two tones segment livery”
- Correction of some LODs that could lead to crash in some cases
- Deletion of flaps capable ailerons, now, only TEF act like that
You can get the files here : https://www.mediafire.com/file/qi2wl3x7auip9at/J-20_v2.1.rar/file
This is not a full package, but a patch for the stock J-20 that I is implemented in stock DB.
You can follow the full thread here : https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/16886/chengdu-j-20
Best regards,
Radium

Hello,
Regarding Yak-38 questions, especially by C³, here is some explanations about my choices :
- My Yak-38 was created to look good from an AI perspective
- For this reason, and because I wanted to have VTOL hatches opened during at least landing phase, I chose to link them with tailhook. For take off, I still have no idea how to make it appear.
- I have no clear evidence of any usage of Yak-38 by Ukrainian navy. That being said, Yak-38M “Yellow 83 & 46” and Yak-38U “Yellow 04” were painted under Ukraine navy colors. While I have no pictures of them inflight, they look to have been on duty till at least 1994. I then decided to make a Ukraine livery for my Yak-38.
- For gears issue, Topolo fixed what was necessary. No more actions on it.
I then consider Yak-38 debug closed.
Please feel free to let me know if you find more issues !
Best regards,
