A big, big, big THANK YOU to the BMS Developers Team!!! I haven’t yet the opportunity to try all the new things, but the VR is a fantastic new chapter in the great history book of BMS.
Looking forward forthe next updates, well done and best wishes to the whole BMS community for a great New (flying) Year! -
Congratulations on a job well done! Very nice 2D UI, love the integration of Alternative Launcher as well. Looking forward to discovering the improvements in BMS over the next few weeks. Thanks for all that hard work! The sim loads much quicker, and seems more stable too, well done!

Thanks to the Dev’s! I think to change to the "Alternate Launcher " style UI is wise. You just have to remember to re-set-up your controls. Can you just copy over your 4.36 Auto-keyfile?
so far as I can tell, you should be able to copy over your 4.36 era key file. worked for me … give it a try.
be advised, the 128-button-per-device numbering is now in effect, by default (as was true in 4.36 if you used Alt Launcher).
@drtbkj and @airtex2019 but then you won’t have the new 4.37 ECM and VR callbacks. Add those
to the old BMS-Auto.key and pull it over and let me know how it works out since I need to do it to get all my old keybinds but can’t get to my BMS computer right now. -

@Snake122 @drtbkj I think I’m wrong … AL will “import” all the keybd bindings, but not the dx button bindings.
I’ll start a new thread on this … if there’s no easy answer, maybe I’ll crank out a little “import” tool asap.
Well that’s all I need because I use the AL for the DX bindings and is well worth it with all my USB devices.

Snake, I wasn’t sure if I was doing it right, as me copying the AUTO keyfile didn’t work for me. I just went ahead and reset the controls. I consider
it a win for us that the “alternate launcher” is now stock! -
I’m so happy that BMS has VR support now. Can’t say I missed my sim pit very much. Worth the sacrifice. Using the mouse took some getting used to but it’s fine now. I now have one mouse by each hand and it comes in handy. Got bass shakers under my chair and oh wow the immersion, first time flying I was like wow wow wow wow… Wow. Thanks devs for the best gift money can’t buy!

I know it’s silly, but I feel compelled to give thanks for - among the many, many things the devs have done in creating 4.37 - the fact that they have once again kept the Winamp player alive! I can still hit ICP -> List -> 0 -> 0 and play a personal soundtrack while I’m merging with a bandit or rolling in on target. I admit I’m quite silly, but I love it, and I’m grateful again that the devs have kept it alive. Thanks!
(There’s a 0 that has to get changed to a 1 in the config file, in order to enable this function, for anyone who doesn’t know. I think you can just search the config file for “Winamp”.)

Huge thanks to all involved. Absolutely amazing release as usual.
The only downside is now im scratching around for spare cash for a Quest 2 haha
Cheers

Congratulations to all the team for this great work.

Coming from ‘that other sim’ to try out the vr and dear god - the frame rate and clarity makes so much difference. Watching my first fox 2 track and kill was a totally different experience. Still coming to grips with the F-16 (typically an F-18 and A-10 hack) but the a2a at least feels significantly more dynamic against the AI. I’m hooked.

@MCDeedle Welcome to the club…when you fly your first campaign, then your “soul” will be lost forever!
-
Thanks a lot to the BMS team for your incredible amount of effort and love put into this masterpiece of software.
I’ve been playing for a couple of days and enjoying every bit of it.
Thanks again,
-
Thank you for 4.37!
If the powers that be ever find out how much fun this sim is - they will either: tax it or outlaw it.
Good on you BMS staff/team!

Thank you to the BMS team!!!
-
Thanks for all your hard work.
Its really weird and great at same time to see Falcon (bms) world in 1:1 scale on VR after all these years. I was 17 years when orginal falcon 4 was relased and now im near 42

Un grand bravo à l’équipe BMS !
-
Muchas gracias al equipo de Falcon BMS!!! Keep hard work!

And best part of this VR update, all is so clear and readable.
And there is very little shimmer vs other SIM.
Even clouds are so Sharp.
I wish that when we get new terrain etc… this will be same then.
Functional vs pretty screen shot simulator, functional will always win !!
So Happy !!!
