Reverb G2 HUD renders with double vision, all else ok
-
The HUD is giving me double vision. If I roll my head sideways, the double vision effect stops.
Is there a setting I can change to affect this?

Everything else appears fine.

I’ve tried everything listed there. No change.
The HUD is projected so that the image in the right eye is higher than the image in the left eye. This causes a great amount of eye strain as one eye tries to focus on a high image while the other tries to focus on a low image.
If I tilt my head all the way right or left, the eye strain goes away. The projection is wrong. It’s high/low instead of right/left.

Thank you for your assistance though.

The “End Game” menu when pressing escape is also rendered 90 degrees off, just like the HUD.

@Aries144 I am in same boat. I have a G2 and see the HUD rendered with a small vertical split btw the two images. SO I see two horizon bars, two fpv, 2 tadpoles etc with one slightly above the other. If I roll my head to either side they merge.

@Zapper has been fixed for U1 apparently.
-
@Zapper Same here with a brand new G2.
-
@Wicked OK, so it would seem to be one for escalation to devs to ask as it is beyond me to understand how they make this magic happen but it is wonderful that they do.
Hopefully @MaxWaldorf may have a moment to assist us.

@SOBO-87 Oops, sorry just replied to @Wicked and mentioned @MaxWaldorf . If the issue has been addressed then I will wait patiently.
Thanks All

@Zapper I did not have the issue with my Valve Index. It’s only on the brand new Reverb G2 lol. Therefore, it’s got to be something with WMR since the Index ONLY uses Steam. Whereas the Reverb is a WMR device first but has to use Steam to fly BMS. Hopefully someone smarter than me can use that info and know what to fix.
-
@Wicked It doesn’t happen with all reverb G2s, HUD collimation is fine on my end
There might be some software miscommunication regarding display miss-alignment correction. Not all HMDs are produced equally and every one of them has a calibration value stored inside that should be applied by WMR/SteamVR. DCS had a similar issue a couple of years ago, it was fixed with a patch.

@Dragasath Great. Nothing like getting a new toy and it’s broken. I literally received it today. I saw that the G1’s were good to go as well. I’ll just close an eye for a few seconds lol.
-
I am seeing this on the gun cross and funnel.
-
@Dragasath you’re lucky, the HUD is about 20ft in front of the aircraft for my G2 version 1. It’s still usable but let’s just say I’m checking this site every day for U1 to be released.

When I lean back and forth, the world leans back and forth with me. It’s fine if I sit still and pan my head, but if I lean the world leans.
-
@glide this sometimes happens to me, 100 percent due to a dark room and the headset can’t track its surroundings. I fly with all lights on now

Yes, as @spotdott says you have to turn on the light
