Reverb G2 HUD renders with double vision, all else ok
-
@Wicked It doesn’t happen with all reverb G2s, HUD collimation is fine on my end
There might be some software miscommunication regarding display miss-alignment correction. Not all HMDs are produced equally and every one of them has a calibration value stored inside that should be applied by WMR/SteamVR. DCS had a similar issue a couple of years ago, it was fixed with a patch.

@Dragasath Great. Nothing like getting a new toy and it’s broken. I literally received it today. I saw that the G1’s were good to go as well. I’ll just close an eye for a few seconds lol.
-
I am seeing this on the gun cross and funnel.
-
@Dragasath you’re lucky, the HUD is about 20ft in front of the aircraft for my G2 version 1. It’s still usable but let’s just say I’m checking this site every day for U1 to be released.
-
When I lean back and forth, the world leans back and forth with me. It’s fine if I sit still and pan my head, but if I lean the world leans.
-
@glide this sometimes happens to me, 100 percent due to a dark room and the headset can’t track its surroundings. I fly with all lights on now

Yes, as @spotdott says you have to turn on the light
-
Thanks for the suggestions, but my other sims don’t exhibit this behaviour. It’s not a lighting issue.
-
@glide I had the same issue a couple nights ago. What worked for me was going into the Windows Mixed Reality settings and cleared the Environment data. I hope that helps.
-
@glide Suggest u clear environment data in WMR settings.

has been fixed for U1 apparently
In the meantime, has anyone found a temporary workaround?
I ask because, unfortunately, this problem prevents me from enjoying the simulator (sold the TrackIr).
Thank you! -
@Topo-0 not as far as I know.
-
@Topo-0 Still having this issue but I’ve learned to relax my eyes when looking through the HUD. Kind of like when doing those old 3D illusion things.

Thanks, waiting for the first update I’ll make a few more attempts.
It’s tiring for me, but the dynamic campaign, the ATC and above all make the ground control angry by clogging the taxyway is priceless… -
This thread title has always struck me as hilarious.
Arms and legs blown off; eyes popped out; ears fallen off. ALL else is okay.
LOL…! The OP is so sweet. Great title. Lovin’ it.
