@Killroy
I too would like this theater; regardless of the sexual preferences of the developers…

Our community sleeps completely peacefully
Sleep? I don’t have time to sleep!
“Our community” means “We non-paying users”.
Obviously, “You” developers are not allowed to sleep/feed/have fun/copulate until version 4.38 is released…
Normally, i don’t need to peek under the googles; i keep at minimum the interaction with the keyboard, using instead some of the switches on the WinWing throttle base (Recenter, Openkneeboard page control ecc…)
My Hotas has the same inputs as in non VR, fundamentally the real counterparts functions (slightly adapted from F-18 to F-16)
For the radio comms i’m an extremely happy user of VoiceAttack.
For the cockpit manipulation i use my regular mouse, hoping that one day the use of PointCtrl or Leap Motion will be implemented.

@Topo-0 @MaxWaldorf …where can we slip pizza, peanut M&Ms, Oreos, etc., under the door?
Nope, only coffee is allowed (and some not-so-legal pills)
Seriously, I also want to thank everyone for this amazing work.
As for me, I personally prefer photorealistic textures at a lower resolution, also due to the average flight altitude.
In my experience, in VR the F-16 cockpit is a bit small; the F-15 and AV8B are very large.
I’m talking about the “VR perceived dimension”.
A different problem can be the model issue (legs too high, throttle too tiny etc…)
sorry for my english.
I agree, it’s an important milestone. Give him this gift!
Unfortunately I believe that the specifications of your PC are not very high for the latest generation VR headsets; maybe your PC can handle an Oculus Rift S (you can find cheap used ones), but the visual quality won’t be high…

Nice! Can we include them in 37.4?
Yes, why not make it the new F-15C cockpit texture?
@Xeno In fact, you’re probably right.
@Xeno Yes you are right. I didn’t consider the lod.
Anyway, I think it could save a lot of polygon and modeling work.
Great work!
Just one doubt:
Isn’t it better, while improving current models, to keep the polygon count to a minimum?
I am referring in particular to bolts and above all, as already @okayasugf mentioned, to wheels and tracks.
Details that perhaps, given the nature of the simulator, can be simplified with a smart use of the textures.
Anyway, great work!
Absolutely agree.
Even if she doesn’t agree with the route I’ve chosen while I’m driving, my wife will never have access to my car’s GPS.
@C0ntr0lman
I also use the F-18 wingwing hotas, and I simply assigned the F-16 function to the most similar button in terms of functionality and position.
If i remember well, the most prominent difference is the lack of a 4way switch in the F/A-18 stick.
I solved using the “mouse ministick” as a 4 way switch, assigned at the Data management switch (DMS)
EDIT:
Sorry, I reread and realized you were referring to the throttle; the approach I used is the same, with the only notable difference being the radar antenna elevation, assigned to an axis on the base and not on the throttle.

@mobua
Yes, the vr is 6dof.
Which headset? Is the room well lit?
@Bikeman
No problems with my Reverb G2 and SteamVR; nothing changed for me in the last few days…
