small question…Why did you change the water texture to black color? Texture has Alpha channel, but in DXT1?

EghiSame question here. All water tiles are pitch black. How can i change that? I’ve seen screen shots with correct water, so what did i wrong?

That black is “trasparence”, photoshop read.

As I noticed with Kunsan airbase with mipmap the “water zone” should be saved in dxt5 but without alpha balance options.
I use paint.net and I’ve that option before saving dds.
Don’t know in photoshop with nvidia plugin, I don’t like ps…
Another thing in paint.net you see that water zone trasparent and not black as in ps, so I discovered it’s trasparent zone.cheers

This simple re-paint the structure of water on the tiles :).
This is original texture HCOST736:Now compare with what presented above, there is missing something? …… Water texture?
That black color looks like water is responsible shaders. Turn off shaders and see only black stain. -

If use original tiles it’s all ok. Why? The server have original texture. SIngle player perfect…only multy have ctd -

Installation path: \ Falcon BMS 4.32 \ Data \ Terrdata \ korea \ texture \ texture -
The installation path indicating Tom is wrong, the correct path is
\ Falcon BMS 4.32 \ Data \ Terrdata \ korea \ texture \ texture -
in my opinion i think than nobody is happy with the texture terrain in bms’; i prefer to buy this product with complete truly grafic terrain like dcs to be more realistic this great simulator, in a future i would like to see that and dont confuse my comment guys i,m not try to compare bms with dcs because what is bad here is good there and what is bad there is good here.;)

Excellent work Tom ! Thank you! I have a question, really now with better textures, the only fly in the ointment is the way Falcon uses the same tiles and repeats the patterns. How is this controlled and is there any way of altering this to get less repeating patterns , so the whole thing looks a bit more random? I guess for example that there is a standard village tile etc…if there were 20 different village tiles, for example, could you make Falcon choose them randomly?
