-2) Run the OFMKTO 1.6 Installer ( you do not need to unzip it)
-3) Take the Dgft Folder in the Hotfix and move it to x/BMS 4.37/Data/Add-On OFMKTO/Art

- othersNOTE ON 4.37 JAMMER MODELING. We wanted to give the option of either using the USAF or IDIAS jammer system, so the Hornet and 5G cockpit hotspots are in place.
In the Hornet 'pit on low/center MFD-OSB1=ECM-STBY
-OSB2=ECM-OPER
-OSB3-5= ECM XMIT1-3
-OSB 11-15- ECM MODE 5-1
In the Fifth Gen. ‘pit, again on the low/center MFD
OSB 1-5=ECM MODE 1-5
OSB 16-18-ECM XMIT 1-3
OSB 19= ECM STBY
OSB 20= ECM OPER.
The Tornado also has ECM Power,ECM XMIT MODE,and the 5 XMIT button hotspots.See BMSOFM Fighters’ Manual page 5.We’ve been working on the pits with a couple of goals. First, simply get it to work even for people with austere HOTAS’s. Second, to give people the option of the USAF or IDIAS without a lot of hassle.
The pits , that will be in OFM 1.6 Theaters,have hotspots for all the buttons needed for both systems. Plus, If your HOTAS has a 4-way switch, you have another option…
The procedure is 1) Go to x/4.37/Data/your theater/Sim/acdata/ your jets folder. In the avionics section look for avionicsRWRType
avionicsRWRType 1 ( this is for the Viper model)
avionicsRWRType 3 will give you IDIAS
avionicsRWRType 5 will give you the USAF model with the RWR-on-HUD display
2a) USAF-map CMS up,down, left,and right as usual . Then, map SimXMit1 ,SimXMit2 ,and SimXMit3 as shifted commands under the CMS’s. This gives you full HOTAS capability once you have powered the jammer and pressed the SimEcmMode1-5( which are in all 3 cockpits)
2b) IDIAS-It’s the same procedure as above except you map ECM XMIT TOGGLE instead of CMS Down. You don’t need the 3 XMIT commands.
There are other ways to do this, but this method has been tested in 3D -

Congrats, as usual.Just a minor note, the Eurofighter Typhoon 3D cockpit in it’s present state should be included as well.
I’m still working on a cockpit guide at full speed and will deliver it as soon as possible.

It should be noted, that the cockpit is actually a conversion of Qawa’s old 3D Cockpit for FF5 (with his blessing to use it for the cockpit). There are still some issues with the cockpit, however, in terms of floating displays, some 3D model graphical glitches and limited functionality of indicators. The cockpit is a beta release that is WIP.6DOF is currently disabled for this cockpit, but you can enable it by editing the following 3dckpit.dat entry:

Be aware that alternative cockpit leg models are a little bit to large, especially the kneeboards and that they are thereby obscuring the view of the side consoles to a certain extend.

Is AIM-120D simply METEOR missile with AIM-120 shape? Is the flight model realistic?

hello again, i played the OFMKTO Rolling fire campaign but it crasheed every time i played it…
i guess new aircraft carrier model or f35C is causing it to crash but it’s just a guess… when i put the throttle on full in f35c it will indicate 1.01 or even 1.02! and when i tried to throttle down bms crashed… -

Farazparsa, it’s been very stable in testing, but post the crashlog here and we’ll certainly take a look at it.
Silent, the best answer to your “it’s a Meteor post” is -not really. The 120D flight model (misdata) file did start as the Meteor. You could call that it’s template. However, it was then heavily modified with the best real world 120D performance data we could get. To you, and All…“Let me make a comment about the AIM-120D that is included, as we actually gave it some thought. Although anything can be improved, we feel it’s flight model is realistic. But, we wondered if some might see it as a “cheater missile” (although we honestly feel it is NOT). So, we didn’t go crazy with putting it on all jets that could realistically carry it . We left that to the User. It’s easy to add via the Editor. Just add it to your jets Squadron Stores then hardpoint(s) for your jet.”
This was from the Mafia Journal thread, and we still stand by it. I would estimate it’s “reality” at about 90%. However, now that OFM 1.6 is out, more people can test. We’re not done with this project, yet. -

no mate as much as you can improve and update database to the modern airops and loadouts is perfect to me.
i would love to play with Aim120D and meteor.
honestly I don’t like Aim120B and Aim120C at all because i think those missiles are kinda Outdated missiles.

i installed the new hotfix2 for OFM KTO and it still crashes playing about 20 minutes in every campaign.
