I hope the holidays are coming soon with all the work you have! -
@VDK
Very pertinent comment, this VDK of yours, always has BUGS.
Community is now all happy with the news, but when the BUGS start to appear thatās when the problems begin. -

Community is now all happy with the news, but when the BUGS start to appear thatās when the problems begin.is that falcon bms has an ecosystem that is self-sustaining by itself, a version or an update comes out, as is normal it has its bugs (even paid things have bugs), we who exploit the software communicate the bugs to the creators and they correct.
Now, the balance is lost when some users believing themselves with the power to demand changes and modifications start endless topics reaching the point of criticizing the developers and the beta testing team. without taking into account that this is FREE, nobody pays a penny and on the other side there are several dozen people investing time in creating a simulator, I would say the best military aviation simulator and they do it with pure heart.
I have a saying and in a very simple way, WHAT IS FREE IS NOT CRITICIZED.

IIRC that was the case with Tommo, is it still the case with MPS?Hi! I am afraid I do not know about that.
I thought the same thing as the old license and patch release process with Tommo is not applicable or at least keep it for update release.
But MaxWaldorf commented The license / IP holder change is a one reason why U3 release is delayed.
I was curious if there was any update release process change after Microprose license taken over.
If there was no update release process change, the license / IP holder change should not be a reason to delay update release.
Thatās why I asked this. -

My comment was not intended to belittle the work of the developers, but rather that our users will be demanding a quick solution to the BUGS from the developers.
BY THE WAY I AM VERY POSITIVE I DONāT LET MYSELF BE SHAKEN BY ANYTHING -

no brother, it was not a direct answer for you, it was an answer and an opinion in general. So do not worry.
GREETINGS
If I see you criticizing, apply my previous comment -
@VIPER-0 i need you to read whats was writen, and not what was NOT writen.
What i say was:
āWe could have an U4 or U5 for possible bugs and corrections with the new features in U3?ā
There is NO demand on that sentence, there is NO criticized on that sentenceā¦
The point of my sentence you can find on your on words:
āā¦ a version or an update comes out, as is normal it has its bugs (even paid things have bugs), we who exploit the software communicate the bugs to the creators and they correct.ā
With such foward step with U3 and some new types of files (what is totally cool and amazing!) is totally understandable that we MAY have some bugs and issues (and i say againā¦ MAY HAVE)
The question is:
a) Could we be expect an U4 or U5 to solve eventual issues
b) The solution of these POSSIBLE issues that we MAY HAVE will be only solved in 4.38Thatās it, and NOTHING MORE!

I understand that there will be no updates after U3.
U3 is like a progressive adaptation towards a version that will contain very big changes. All development power will be focused on 4.38 after U3.
In the end it is just my opinion of what I have been informed and what the team management has written here. Thatās just my opinion
For a more precise answer, then, it will be necessary to invoke those who do have the right and the power to give their opinion correctly.
Regarding what I wrote, it is not with anyone in particular, read well, it was generalized for those who at some point believe they have the power to demand something that is given to them for free.
-
U4 would be possible but only as a bug fixing solution to issues breaking the sim that would not be detected by testersā¦
No new stuff before 4.38ā¦
Thatās the story so far, but things could always change.
-
@bstar07 I assume the relationship between the developers and the IP holder is an extremely sensitive issue so I, for one, avoid speculating here about it.
-
@MaxWaldorf I hope that this door opened for the F-15 will also be opened for the F-14 Tomcat in the future.
-
The 3D model of the Viper is something new? Or just everything is on āhighā?
-
That ground texture though
Canāt wait for 4.38 !!
-
@Flow32 Itās not just ātextureā though
