Music “master” too I see!
ETA?

It’s art, it’s in the blood.
I thank you qawa and every creators for their time and patience.
I pass hours in their creations.
cheers

my friend…. believe me… I’m the last one… I’m thinking about Falcon 3dpit “master” each days:
Aeyes, Nanard, Wdavey, Ataribaby, Pumpyhead, Buzzz, Sundevil !
each of us can learn from their professional works… and then… try to make a 3dpit like meMy friend Stefano, each guy that offers a work (no matter small or bigger one) to Falcon community is highly respected by me and i think from a lot of others.
Now due to the fact that you mentioned them, i fully trust your words so also these gentlemen has my respect!
But you also do a great work there and this is nice and obvious, so i have no problem to thank you for your hard efforts and your time to spend on this ;).
Stay on this way mate. :drink:
Nikos. -
Great job guys. That video is amazing and a testament to the developers skill and dedication to their art. If those pits will be part of 4.33 along with all the other amazing upgrades we see in development on this board, BMS will be set a new standard for desktop simulations.

Nikos.thanks, It’s a pleasure to read this words Nikos !!!
could be easy for me to fall into an “ego” rise… I force myself to stay lower, and enjoy new improvements for the pleasure to do that

+1
(yes, there are a lot of peoples behind the work of the pits in this video)

oh… it’s just a personal view… sadly we cannot “multiply” our time for Falcon
Agree

It wont’ set any standard, there will be still F-16s avionics under hood of nice 3Dpit so it’s fake simulation of any plane other than F-16… Only Dev’s can make avionics stuff happen and thats won’t hapen least 10 years. Sorry.
I hope that Bms will just make F-16 even better , no need to another free falcon fly all arcade game.
-
even FF user can fly F-16 only

hahahahaha
nice one… never read before
but… I can’t stop to make 3dpits…
and there’s nothing of arcade here… only “no” new avionics…
obviously Falcon (BMS) It’s F16 focused… but there’s a “world” around of it… dont forget !
even FF user can fly F-16 only
Also with BMS we can (Launcher/Config/Fly F16 only) … who know why…

BMS indeed is an F-16 simulator. But as qawa said: there is a world around it. Modern fighters use avionics comparable or sometimes even partial similar to the F-16, let alone the basic instruments all aircraft have. On top of that, many aircraft have (or will get) a dedicated true to life flight model, a realistic weapon loadout and quite a realistic cockpit. So ok, in the HUD and the MFD’s you can recognise the F-16 part. But for the rest other aircraft can be very immersive and convincing to fly. Nothing arcade there.

I agree 100% - there is already the Mirage for the one who want to try something else than the F-16 (with awesome FM and own cockpits).
-
It’s actually all very easy. If you just want to fly the F-16, since only fly the F-16. It is totally respectable, like the great work that other people spend their time to, among other things, make other flyable aircraft, which a lot of interested users of the simulator.
Thank you very much Qawa by these works of art are your copits, and other developers who dedicate their time to give new life to the simulator by including these new aircraft, no doubt.

Your pit’s are really nice, but it just makes me wish that we can get real avionics. No hard feelings, it’s just old me :dhorse:

Afaik the team keeps the primary focus on the F-16 block 50-52, so dedicated avionics for other aircraft will take 9 - 12 weeks at least I guess

That’s it more or less.
I have been involved in Falcon modding since 2004. Compared to what has been accomplished on the F-16, the Mirage aircrafts are still babies, but if I hadn’t bashed my coder friends all day long, it wouldn’t be at the level it is now.
And sometimes, what I request for the Mirage even benefits to the F-16. How ironic is that? -
Qawa, what can you tell us about the mig-29 cockpit?
-
I’ve purchased the flight manual and tried (with the help of some friends) to understand where we can use “this” F16 functionality with “that” Mig29 switch (believe me… was hard). Some language of the pit remain original cirillic characters but some (like ICPDED, MFD, HUD) obviously remain in english language. Texture and 3dpit was inspired by photos. I’ve used flight manual for to build lateral panel & front panel, but dimension aren’t perfect compared with the real one IMO.
I’ve granted a rampstart procedure and a respectable BMS experience… but expect wrongs… I’m not perfect
