Is Falcon BMS close to the real thing?

What real F-16 doesnt have time acceleration and freeze? how do they do anything!
-
Its the only Combat Flight Sim out there thatâs got me addicted, and knowing that the great people working on future releases are passionate about the F-16 and Flight Sims in general I think its safe to say it will just get even better as time goes on, the goal is realism.;)

nooo i mean the internal cockpit and armament of the F-16 in game is it dead on accurate to the actual F-16 in real life
-
Itâs the closest u can find.
-
Yes besides classified rwr internals and ecm internals. Other stuff either not implemented yet or classified.

Squelch for radios.
Can start with one JFS bottle instead of both.
Can dial manual freq into backup UHF head.
RWR activity saturation.
The entire SMS back end.
Page-specific bright/contrast/sym MFD settings.
Smooth control of the depressed reticle.
Anything air conditioning or anti fog.
Several things about exterior lighting.
TACAN ident monitoring.
Have Quick.
D/B model cockpit.

i mean the internals and the way the armament works are they realistic, or are some features & buttons not there in the real cockpit. I would like to know that is all
Every F- 16 is different IRL. Every single one of them. In one way or another. So there will be some details in BMS that are different, not there or not accurate to a specific F-16, but nothing relevant to us in my opinion. BMS is as close as needs to be.

Always have to enter Lat/Long before align.
For the old-school 8-10 minute align? Nowadays they have that fancy 4-minute EGI if Iâm not mistaken.
-
Itâs as real as phone sex.
-
One real F-16 pilotâs opinion is that the avionics are 90% accurate.:)

-
Right, might as well be an iPhone game
Yea, I would like to see you put bms on an iPhone. Doubt very much you could fly it.

The one item on the list I wasnât sure of! Hehe. I bet the INS is one of the more changed systems over the lifetime. BMS isnât exactly the same as any of them is all I mean. Even on PX II/III jets there are so many alignment options and caveats. I donât know the capabilities of the newest EGI but even older models could align in four min, it just wasnât great. The long time for alignment is for gyrocompassing. The Earth only turns so fast so the only way to get suitable performance in less time is for the INU (LRGs for sure on anything new) to be sufficiently precise after less degrees of Earth rotation.
Apparently just having a GNSS and INS system doesnât make it âEGIâ it takes a low-level integration of raw data from the two systems to make it âembedded.â I donât know if the H-764G is the current EGI used. I curious whatâs the model number on the latest unit.
Edit: Looks like LN-260 current. And the brochure says a 4m âGCâ (gyro compass) align so it probably gets to spec faster. Advertised in blended operation as better than the required INS spec 83:1 in Vx, Vy.
