Guam Beta Release
-
…Quake has not given permission to use his F-15 model for use in non FreeFalcon versions…
That’s quite the memory you have…! :bowd:
-
Gents,
After much thought these last days on Guam and the F15. I went ahead tonite and quickly made a model to replace both Quakes and the Vermins work. Ara’ gets the credit for the cockpit detail and I thank him for his quick response…… I am still struggling though with prop wash and should have that figured out in the coming decade. Falcon you know…jeesh!! As well, flying this new beauty takes some extraordinary skill in Falcon cause you have to push VERY hard on the rudder pedals, in sequence, just to get her to taxi. But once you are airborne in your imagination the Pron’s pit really kicks in. Laid back in that leather seat you kinda’ know you have Air Superiority!!!
Some pic’s to see where I’m going with this new to Falcon bird.
Aggressor first:Navy version:
and no Arty I have yet to figure out the slots for the AIM’s yet, but stay tuned……
Cheers,

Well A.S,. you being confused and irritated is not new to me……
But the real pics are here:This is after 4 weeks of playing in the clay so to speak. I’m convinced I’m not real good at it……L0L!!!
Very steep learning curve with that particular tool!!!(love the warp tool though)
Thanks to Jowens I had a place to start…whew…tanks M8.
IF and thats a big IF it gets to a satisfactory point it may be included in Guam BETA. If not, we will go with what we have.
And if that is a problem with Quake and the Vermin……cause the current F15 in Guam is a combination of both works, they need to let me know quickly…now A.S take a moment to sit back in your chair and STFU for a minute, K’ give me five minutes Falcon time!!!No offense M8

Dunno ATM why the Leads go back and touch Homeplate. Thinking CODE issue……but they are flying better now (they are not running into Joe Pilot). TRAP is next, gotta see if I can get the Sums of B’s to land and park so they can reagg and save airframes

Man, that skin is sexy…

After MANY attempts today (9hrs) I finally got the BUG to TRAP at near stall:
Have to state, hats off to MavJP on this AFM……BIG sigh…just kidding!!!
Notes: You will see that I am lining up to the right of the tag line, for now that is the only way to catch the wire. Actually we are not “Catching the Wire”, more hitting a PT on the objective.
Fix 'em up coming soon…;)Cheers,

GREAT work there Dave, BRAVO! :drink:
Keep on it mate.
Nikos. -
Fix’em up done……;)
NOTE: If you need to Bolt, you have to do it just B4 or around the E2C on the deck. Otherwise the CODE will slam U……LOL!!!
Also make sure that you are geared UP B4 hitting the AB on a bolt…nasty things happen if we forget…:-xCheers,

Don’t expect this soon, MAYBE after 4.33……

Great work Dave, your development with Guam is making the naval code in BMS better everyday. BTW, I really enjoyed our conversation other day. In only an hour, I learned more about theatre development than the week i spent carousing PMC wiki and its forums.
-
Great to see some work focused on naval ops!
Keep it up!

demerHow did you fixed the AI “falling in water” bug? Should we see another improvment this and new 3D carrier model? How you can set ILS for carrier? I tried to set my system in my MOD but I’m not master of BMS4 ILS/TACAN modeling.

Molni,
It’s a secret code I use……psst don’t tell…LOL!!!Airbase obj is big, carrier Model is small.
PT’s don’t fit.
Changed Model Hitbox dimensions and Obj PT’s to match…used super imposed scale model tile image to achieve end result.See???
As far as ILS, that is hardcoded for the carriers I think, have not got that far. But when I do I’ll pass that on to Niko’s….;)

tired demerSorry but i dont understand at all what you are trying to do here ?
seems to me that you dont use AFM , OFM -human carrier ops are not really supported by the code that is why humans shall fly AFM for carrier ops
With AFM wires are perfectly defined etc…
please explain what is your intention here ?
