New NVIDIA drivers

FYI, for me with GTX-780 with drivers 347.88 game is totally smooth, not even seen 1 stutters since installing. Amazing considering the HUGE stutters I used to see with previous drivers.

Same here but I use a GTX-460.

I just want to say, that i am running one of the “infamous” GTX-970 cards with 2 full-HD screens attached (1920x1080). Driver ist latest 347.88. One display is for gauges and MFDs (MFDE and GPT) and one for external view.
System runs silky-smooth, no stutters so far. With adaptive-vsync im am getting 62 FPS in any condition. With vsync off FPS rises to about 82 on ground and 98 when i´m airborne. I don´t like the screen-tearing with vsync off so i´m happy with my 62 FPS setting the vsync to “adaptive”.Greetz, mad_rabbit

I just applied 347.88 and the stutter I had at low level on the 331 or whatever it was (circa Nov 2013) has gone! GTX 670
-
same here.GTX 650

Just installed the 350.12 drivers to go with the new Titan X SLI setup I installed. No stutters or wing rock detected with only V Sync enabled same as the 347.09 and newer driver testing I’ve done.

Just a heads up guys. Seems streaming service eats cpu… So:

Praise God All Mighty Gaben is love. Gaben is life. come at me " Recently i found that my card was trying to stream games to a nvidia shield even though i dont own one and it was eating at my cpu and destroying my framerate in games however i found a way to close down this process. click the windows icon in the bottom left and search “services"http://i.imgur.com/NF1TAXr.png*Next open up services and locate "NVIDIA Streamer Service"http://i.imgur.com/JQQmRVr.pngOpen the service and stop the service if its running then disable the service.http://i.imgur.com/lNvZSyg.png*Do all this and hit apply and you’ll be able to see a noticable framerate boost and drop in your cpu usage! i hope this help a couple people out!” repost from r/globaloffensive"

Simple way to avoid all of that mess would be to only install what you need when doing NVidia drivers. Since I don’t use the 3D or the sound the only things I install on my custom driver install is the driver itself and PhysX.
-
What uses even physx? Certainly not Falcon nor DCSW.
-
Installed the 350.12 drivers and the physX only. Default controlpanelsettings on my GTX 670. Falcon is silk, Dcs better and Arma3 good as candy.

I know it might be shocking but BMS or DCSW are not the only things that take up my time. I do play games like GTA 5 etc.

Same here, I’ve been using the drivers only install option for years and avoid running nvidia experience, too
I usually start with a clean driver install too so left-over tweaking experiments don’t affect the performance.

Not only do I do the clean install I also use Display Driver Uninstaller via safe boot to get rid of any traces of the old driver prior to installing the new one. Give it as much of a clean slate as I can.

Hello.
yesterday I installed W10, along the way I installed the latest 353.62 (29.7.2015), 64 bit with a GTX760.
They weren’t working for me. The loading screen wouldnt show (it would either stay stuck there, or just plain black) but the sim was running OK.
Reverted to my old ones (344.48). does anyone have a chance to try the new ones in W7 to understand if its an issue of the drivers, or just with w10?Thanks

On 353.62 WHQL Win 7 x64 and Falcon seems to be running fine for me, haven’t noticed those issues you’re experiencing.

I can report that with Windows 10 and the latest drivers 64 bit 29Jul15 Nvidia 353.62, a 30 mn fly worked very well with Israel campaign in 3D surround 5880*1020 (even better than before with w8.1 and nvidia drivers dated from more than 1 year).

Tya. Issue must be with my system then.
-
I can add the following point: No way to switch from 3D to 2D with the Nvidia shortcut. F4 BMS freezes and do not work anymore. Same issue with previous drivers and even the latest one with Asseto Corsa.
The following fix works sometimes: if it happens: press ctrl alt suppr and sometimes it reverts to 3D then.
