      Hello,
how can I install Cougar under Win11? Is that still possible… I last used my Hotas Cougar with Win7 and never with Win 10.
      I haven’t been to BMS for a while…
      Is there a way.

      Thx

Depends on what are your needs, but with current BMS support for up to 128 buttons per device I’d go with default Windows drivers and program stick buttons in BMS new Launcher.

@BlueEyes I had it up and running with Win11 until recently, when the stick failed. The throttle was still working until I replaced it with a newer one. It was a long time ago when I had it installed and I don’t remember exactly the procedure, but I don’t remember doing anything different from what I did when I had it installed on earlier Win versions. But I did use the Foxy software to configure and run it. I suggest you visit the Thrustmaster site to download the drivers and Foxy and give it a try.

@sabre185 said in How to Install Hotas Cougar under Win11?:

Not sure I would necessarily trust anything from “ED”. Especially since it uses Foxy software.

The website below is a bit dated, but I still use it today with Win10. Can’t say it works with Win11 🤢 , but give it a shot. And remember, with BMS keyfiles and the new Alt. launcher software like Foxy (or TARGET) is no longer a necessity.

If there is still a Vista Compatibility Install option, try that.

@BlueEyes I’m using a FCC3 mod with my Cougar joystick board and my throttle board is connected using a TUSBA. I’ve not had to install anything, although I did have some FSSB stuff installed already as I was using a FSSB base prior to the FCC3. I’m on Win10 but should be the same for Win11.

My Cougar works under Win11!and Throttle!

@Atlas I have the FCC3 mode in my Pit and a new Cougar that I converted (Throttle) to a Hall Sensor
@Badger @JollyFE That’s exactly what I was looking for and couldn’t find, I had the instructions too???
                      Thank you

Now I have to install another Hall sensor with a larger angle (180 deg) I only have 90, that’s not enough…

Thanks to everyone who responded and helped
