SimShaker for DCS World and Falcon BMS support thread

Well… it worked. Just ordered!

Hi Andre
Got mine yesterday!! Have tried it for a short hop…. amazing:p
Fast response, delivery and service (had to pay customs, though) …but that’s just my usual luck.Funny thing… had the same thought about the ACES II seat cushion, but guess that will be just another conversion project.
I must agree with Red Dog, that the G-force feeling maybe could use some modification in regard to only kicking in at the higher G-loads.
Unfortunately I experienced that one of shakers (left thigh) gave an almost constant high frequency “humming” with the slightest engagement of the shaker. Somehow annoying, because it would even be heard when wearing well fitting earphones. I don’t know if it has anything to do with setup, but I just tried the default profile (via usb). If anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of the humming - I’ll be grateful to get some hints.
Disregarding the “left thigh humming” it is really an immersive addition to the sim. - Thanks Andre:D
Best regards
ZoomOut;)Hi Asbjoern,
thank you for the feedback.
Yes, high frequency “humming” happens with some KW-908’s motors if it wasn’t used for a while. But usually it goes away soon, when JetSeat is in use.
If it will keep annoying you, please let me know. -

What is the main difference between JetSeat KW-901 Air and JetSeat KW-908 Air?
Is the KW-908 louder because of the two additional motors?
What would you recommend? I plan to use it on a dx racer chair…

KW-908 is louder, but mainly because of its more powerfull motors. That’s another difference. The choice is up to you. Both devices are pretty good. When I do not have KW-908 to test (preparing it for shipping overseas) I use my own KW-901.
Regarding the chair. You can see JetSeat dimensions here https://andres-eshop.pswebshop.com/home/8-andre-s-kw-908-service-pack.html
Have in mind that it’s mostly foam and artificial leather, so you can fold it or even cut off spare parts, or redesign it completly, if you are a creative thinker. -
Don’t expect it to be “loud” or disturbing at all. In my test-case I was trying it late at night, with wife sleeping aside… –> TEST: PASSED
Andre, I will post feedback for effects in flight the following days.

Yes, I feel free to use JetSeat at nights. But not my BK Gamer2

Do i have the seat order via the gametrix.ru website? A bit hard without understanding russian
Edit: i also don’t get the difference between KW901 and KW910 AIR. Additional air cushions?

Get them from Andre’s eshop, he ships worldwide. You probably want the KW-908, it has the most motors, most powerful, and what everybody tends to have.
https://andres-eshop.pswebshop.com/home/8-andre-s-kw-908-service-pack.htmlOnly get the KW-901 if you absolutely have to have a silent solution. The noise of the -908 is not too loud for most of us (the KW-908 much quieter than my bass transducers).

AIR means a flight sim version, with War Thunder bonus codes.
I suppose you can get KW-908 AIR in my e-shop only. -
Andre,
Does your software come with hotkey support so that the pilot can enable massage mode on egress?
Or maybe even bind other effects to hotkeys so he can enable/disable at his disire?
Cheers

ScubHi Scub,
no, my software is not so much elaborated yet.
Just basic functions. I’m sorry.
We’ve got a lot of work ahead. -
Guys, I’m going to add a couple of sliders to make a configurable Dead Zone.
Something like that. Initial values -1G and +2G.
How do you like it?Another question: do we really need to keep current ‘Shift -1G’ optiton?
-
That would be great Andre, thanks!
-
Hi Andre,
Because of this new configurable start points, I am pretty sure the shift option is not needed anymore.
On the other side, to start feeling negative G’s starting from +0,9 and < we still would need the shift. Perhaps make the -G start point configurable to be able to start from (-3…+0.9) Only problem then is the overlap with the positive G start point (0…5). Could you make the +G slider’s Minimal value check for the maximum -G value?
I know this would be complex perhaps but if working it will be the best solution I think.Actually 3 values would be needed: -G startpoint , Center and +G startpoint , with all the correct conditions for them.
Cheers Obi

I’d think the same André.
and configurable deadzones is great, thank you very much
