Hey Red Dog,
Don’t suppose you have come into any more microstick pots? Mine is ever so slightly spiky. If not do you have any pointers on how to clean this particular pot in an effort to stop the spikes?
Unfortunately I must have a ridiculously small amount of interference in my pot as when I calibrate the microstick in Windows Game controller, if I select the option to show ‘raw data’, the X axis flicks back and forth between 2124 and 2125 whilst the Y axis remains idle. I could live with this as I cannot notice radar cursors move on the FCR etc, however it becomes a problem when using the HMCS with radar in BORE mode trying to lock to lock targets with the helmet mounted HUD. Because of this miniscule spike, I cannot remain in Bore mode for more than a slit second because the FCR thinks I am slewing the radar cursors and automatically switches me back to SLEW mode. Dam you thrustmaster!!!
Perhaps as a workaround it is possible to put a Hall sensor in there? Total noob when it comes to this level of electronics…

I have microstick pot I can sell. Pot is cheap, but shipping to OZ is pricey (at least 60 USD). Pot must then be replaced on the little PCB, which is attached with high temp solder.

Thanks Habu, I was informed to increase the deadzone on my microstick (within the controller settings UI) and it has fixed the problem. Appreciate the offer though! And holy cow, that shipping is is RIDIC!! Maybe I’ll call on you in the future if mine lets go (it keeps me up at night thinking about it…), but for that price I may as well fly to your country myself and have a holiday at the same time

Habu_, do you still have the microstick available? Mine has gone tango-uniform.
