Weapon Delivery Planner released
-
Curious if I’m missing something, in my DTC when loaded, if I have a different wingspan selected under the “Systems” tab and when entering the cockpit in flight say during IA etc. I’ll double check it with LIST>5 it always shows 35 ft. why is this? Of course I can easily manually enter them or create a macro etc. One other thing that’s annoying is SNSR Power and INT Lighting panels settings are never retained upon saving and reloading, however these settings do work in the cockpit.

My Kneeboards never show on pilot legs> I save the mission.ini and then upd kneeboards. Response is: Base for Kneeboard not loaded. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks.
-
For Campaigns, here is my process -
In BMS 2D (windowed), stop the clock and Save the current scenario i.e. “Save-Day 1 18 01 41” The creates a .cam file in BMS/Data/Campaign called “Save-Day 1 18 01 41.cam”.
Open WDP, File > Open Mission and select Save-Day 1 18 01 41.cam
A window will open, put the Package # in, Click FIND, then select your flight. Click NO to the Precision Stpt question (normally). This will load up the Datacards with your info.
Click the “Update Kneeboard” button, choose what you want displayed on each knee with the pulldowns, and Click SAVE.
Two prompt windows will pop up (one for each knee graphic), and you are done… -
Just curious, how accurate do the pop ups work out for you guys? Flying as accurately as possible and generally the parameters for delivery work out. I do tend to end up below the planned release alt often. However, a 10 degree delivery is always way off and does not work.
-
Also, does the WDP use the weapon loadout for it’s pop-up calculations or is it just for TOLD performance?

Hi Guys,
if I start up WDP, some text fields and symbols are cut off. See attached screenshot.
For my Settings / System / Display / Scale and layout / Advanced scaling settings / Custom scaling size I have set 110 % for visual convenience. Can this be the reason for text fields cut offs, and if so, can it be fixed without me resetting this setting to 100%?
I had similar problem with Voice Attack GUI, and they could fix it pretty quick.
Thanks for feedback ! If it was discussed already somewhere, please point it out, and apologies for re-floating this question.
-
It looks like the WDP does not see Iwakuni in the 4.35.

Edit: I had saved the original BMS Data directory. I deleted the BMS Data directory that was giving me the error below. That fixed the problem.
Attempting to update kneeboards and get this:

Which version of dot net does WDP use?
Thanks.
-
-
I still see it. But not in Radio/nav indeed, on the map. Don’t know how to help you with that, apart from entering data manually.
-
Yeah, but that kinda screws up any ops from it, since you can’t pick it as starting base, and not just it, all airports that were updated have some invalid data. WDP’s airport database needs to be rebuilt to solve that, I presume Falcas has tools to do that, so I guess we wait. Not much of an issue, the other airports are still there and Iwakuni won’t be used by most campaigns anyway, but the moment you load a mission with it as a starting base weird stuff happens, including WDP outright crashing.

Kneeboard selection should have to be bigger : hard to read each page defined by default
other thing to improve, give the possibility to change the order the default pagesas the default pages are all out of the you pdf checklist or docs from BMS you simply convert the page you want to a jpg or png (useing either an online converter, even taking a snip with windows snipping tool or snip and sketch is ok) save the image and then use the wdp browse picture and select picture function to reorder.

Can someone tell me, is target elevation used for the pop up calculations in WDP? So the result for a target elevation of 5000 ft should be different to a sea level calculation.
