In game, go to Setup>Controllers, on the right hand side is the “Current Keyfile”, with all the commands below it. Scroll to the function you want to change, click on the entry in the Key column and push(map) your button to that function.
Is easy to do!! Once you’ve mapped them all, Save it, name it something unique to the existing names so you know it’s the one you created!!

I forgot to ask you, is there an easier way I can lock onto a target and fire a missile, or fire air to ground ordinance. Say if I wanted to map those keys to buttons on my Xbox One controller. I’ve been playing Falcon BMS for a while and I’ve never figured out how I actually lock onto a target and fire a missile. What are the default keyboard keys for locking onto a target and firing ordinance?
Thanks.

Ok, thanks. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the help.
@Cloud:
Yes, it will detect it and you can map away.
Right now XBOX controller is all I have, Flight stick awol in another state at the moment!!

Ok, thanks. How do I go about mapping the controls. Say if I wanted to make the left analogue stick make the aircraft go up and down and left and right. And map the right analogue stick for looking around inside the cockpit and using the left trigger to slow down and the right trigger to engage afterburners. If that makes sense.
Hi, does anyone know how I can launch the game in 64 Bit?
I have Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit.
Also, is it possible for me to use my Xbox One controller to fly aircraft’s in-game? Is there a way to map the buttons and joysticks?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
The addition of gamepad support would be great.
Plus an updated Eurofighter Typhoon model and a fully functional cockpit.
Hi, I am having some trouble with creating tactical engagements. Basically I like doing training flights and I have a choice to do it with 1-4 aircraft. My question is how do I add more Squadron’s of the same aircraft on the same tactical engagement and when I go in-game the ramp area is filled with example F-15’s. How do I get them to go the same route that I go?
Could someone please explain. It would be very helpful.
Thanks.
I also cannot launch the game in 64 bit either. I am on Windows 8.1 Professional 64 Bit.
I run the game in compatibility mode under Windows 7.
I have no idea why I am unable to launch the game in 64 Bit mode either.
It is SOP to close the canopy before engine start. Starting the A/C with the canopy open is a big no-no. During training it is made very clear to always close the canopy first due to engine or GTS failure. If the GTS fails on a Harrier it often shoots oil out the top and can fall into the cockpit if the canopy is open. I had a failed GTS one time and it shot a fireball out of the main engine because the GTS was not spinning the turbines, so the fuel pooled in the can and click-click-click BOOOOOM. That’s when I learned why they teach you emergency shut down until it’s habit. I reached for the manual fuel shutoff very quickly. The crew on the ground looked freaked out when I got out and told me it was the biggest fireball anyone had ever seen up close. It lit up the night brighter than day time. Maintenance control had a holy crap that was cool but don’t do it again attitude. I guess it lit up all the screens in there and freaked them out.
Were you in the Air Force?
Hi, does anyone know how I can put the Eurofighter Typhoon Cockpit from the Nordic theater into another theater?
What needs to be done? Bear in mind I have never used Lod Editor before. Is it just a simple procedure to copy the files from the Art ckptart folder?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
What a funny thread.
Almost like talking jets in Arma3.
What motorcycle is that on your Avatar picture? I am curious. And yes, indeed the thread is rather amusing.
Try it and see - whats the worst that can happen?
I shall do that and let you know once I have done it I will report back.
I doubt it very much. Unless I’m mistaken, it’s the entire 3D model database file so stuff may not have the same parent numbers etc. You might find yourself flying around in a an abrams or 3D models missing entirely.
Flying around in an Abrams tank. That made me laugh too much.
Not recommended at all.
Just install the models using LODEditor. It really isn’t too difficult, and JanHas has a how to on his site if you haven’t done it before.
So what would happen if I was going to do what I said? Would it actually work?
Hi all, I was wondering. The Add-On Ostsee V3.28.88 theater that I have inside of the folder there is a folder called Terrdata then objects. Inside of the objects folder there is a file called ‘‘KoreaObj.HDR’’ and ‘‘KoreaObj.LOD’’ and ‘‘KoreaObj.TEX’’ If I copy those files to my PMC Europe folder inside of the objects folder for that theater will I get Tom Catz Eurofighter Typhoon model and the cockpit? Would that work? I was just wondering, because the PMC Europe theater has the standard Eurofighter Typhoon model which isn’t brilliant. Should I just copy the whole lot of files and overwrite them for the PMC Europe theater?
Basically what I am asking is can I have Tom Catz Eurofighter Typhoon model and the cockpit inside of other theaters other than the Ostsee and Nordic theaters?
Is it possible?
Any help would be appreciated. The only reason I am asking is because I wish to create realistic tactical engagements for the PMC Europe theater as it does not have the new Eurofighter Typhoon model at all.
I have attached an image showing inside of the objects folder for the Add-On Ostsee theater.
Thanks.
I think I´m done:

Excellent work. Will the skins be able to work in other theater’s other than the Ostsee and Nordic theaters?
Thanks.
Hi, is there a Eurofighter Typhoon cockpit available for me to fly in?
Thanks.
I tried an RAF Eurofighter Typhoon skin I copied the .DDS files to the Terradata/Koreaobj folder and went in-game on the PMC Europe theater and they do not show and I am unable to change the skin to the one I copied over. The only thing I notice is the external fuel tanks change to a lighter blue. That’s it the skin for some reason does not show.
Is there a reason as to why? The PMC Europe theater uses the Koreaobj folder it has It’s own inside of the Terradata/ Theaters folder.
No we have not in Ostsee, but we really, really want that
Didn´t know that qawa build one…Very nice, but seems there are some issues to fix:

I hope that one day we see a Eurofighter Typhoon cockpit just like the F-16’s cockpit. That would be brilliant.
