Hi terminus, thanks for BMSNav. My squad finds it very useful. Is it possible to add Georgia theatre to BMSNav and eventually other theatres too?

RE: MFD Extractor issue
Have your try setting in the config file this: g_bExportRTTTextures to 1? Every time you have a new install/update your config file may change.

RE: BMSNav - Kneeboards and Briefings for iOS and Android
I think it is solved. I changed the config file in BMS to output the brief to html. Now in BMSnav app, I can see the new briefing data.

RE: BMSNav - Kneeboards and Briefings for iOS and Android
I am not sure why it is not working for me. I am using android. My first run was fine in that I am able to get the data from wdp to my android tablet. It was a training mission in korea. After that I tried a korea campaign mission using the same process, start the wdp, go to the mission, have the mission data on the wdp, update kneeboard in wdp, then go to the BMSNav app. However, the data is still the training mission. The BMSNav app seems to be stuck at the training mission rather than giving me the new mission data. Tried a few times and it is still stuck at the first training mission. Anything that I missed?

RE: AI wingman refueling broken?
This is in a TE created in the Nevada Theatre. The tanker is KC135R. This is not the BMS training AAR TE in the KTO theatre. This TE is working fine.

AI wingman refueling broken?
Hi guys,
Can you check in TE whether AI is able to refuel properly? My AI wingman whether they are flyling as lead or as no2, seems to not refuel properly. When the tanker goes into a turn they cannot stay in contact and go into a wild maneuvere and gets far away from tanker. They take ages to get to a contact position and any changes from the tanker makes them go into a wild maneuvere again. Is the AI rountine for AI refueling broken somewhere?

RE: Regarding AI wingmen
Thanks to you and to all for your reply and interest. I must say I am very happy with the AI and ATC. It is really immersive to hear the AI calling out for change to certain frequencies like departure, tactical, approach frequencies. Having the AI call out the change for the tanker frequency will add more the immersion which is already really good. After that the AI will need to give a call to push to the tactical frequency. The other call for the AI lead to call out may be the call to fence in and fence out.
Regarding reproducing the 4th wingman being left behind, this is a tactical engagement flight in the Nevada theatre. I see this every time when I fly this TE as number 2. I see it also when I fly in another 2 ship flight and see this 4 ship flight leaving number 4 behind. It is possible that 1,2,3 are rushing to get to the push point in time.
Having the AI lead to give reference steerpoints in certain situations would also be add to the immersion.
Thanks for all the wonderful work done, anything else is a bonus!

Regarding AI wingmen
I was flying with AI wingman in different scenarios.
As flight lead, after a mission I gave a return to base call when we were clear from the target area. The AI wingmen went their way and after that became unresponsive to any radio calls, In the debrief, they were all listed as KIA. No air to air to air to ground threat and sufficient fuel. Is this normal?
As number two, with AI as lead and the element as AI, I notice the following. After 1, 2(me) and 3 had refueled, AI lead just went to the next stpt leaving 4 behind to refuel. Anyone seen this happening?
Lead AI do not give push tanker frequency or make the refuel call. Is it possible to make AI lead to give the push tanker frequency and make the tanker refueling call?
AI lead does not give reference heading and turns at will. All the rest of the AI wingmen knew where AI lead is going to or heading to. Is it possible to make AI to give reference heading or stpt. This may be difficult during air to air engagement. Maybe up till the point of the push or target steerpoint?

RE: MFDE v0,6.3.0 not working
Hi all,
Got the MFD to work!
Actually went to look in YouTube for instruction on how to use RTT extractor. There I noticed that, you need to set g_bExportRTTTextures to 1 for RTT to work. Default is 0. I try this and find that it is also needed for MFDE. So everything is fine now.

Changing the hz of the monitors did not work. HUD extraction is also not working.

RE: MFDE v0,6.3.0 not working
Good to see it is working for some. So it must be able to work under certain condition. For me it was working fine in BMS 437.2 in win 11. All the others gauges seem to be working well. Just in U3, the MFDs are not working. I have not try extracting the hud. Will try it to see if hud extraction is working? Not sure if it has to do with the refresh rate. In my main screen it was 165 Mhz. In the secondary screen it is 60 mhz. I will test this out by making my main screen and secondary screen to be 60 mhz.
I like the mfd because I can drag and expand the instruments with the mouse. Not sure yet at the moment how to place the BMS extractor to certain place on the main screen and the secondary screen. If anyone can help on how to place the instruments in a second screen with the BMS extractor, please let me know? Thanks.

MFDE v0,6.3.0 not working
After applying BMS 4.37 U3 in window 11, the MFDs in the stand alone mode of MFDE v0.6.3.0, are not working. All the other gauges are fine. Any ideas what must be done to get the MFDs to work?

RE: Cannot lock in TGP
Thanks for the suggestion. Well I have actually modded my x52 pro throttle by adding more buttons to it and switch the z axis to the Bodnar board from the original saitek board. The saitek board is 8 bit but the bodnar board is 12 bit which I think is better. I have added 9 buttons, 2 three way switch and 4 rotaries to the handle and throttle box itself. This is done by drilling holes in the throttle handle and box and wiring it to the bodnar box. Only thing I didn’t do is the ministick, that requires a new mini stick and fitting it into the handle. That may require more skills that I have at the moment. The other thing to do is to know how to dampen the movement of throttle so it sticks or holds to a certain position when push to that position. 2 things to sort out and the throttle would be good.

RE: Cannot lock in TGP
Thanks for the advice. I have the x52pro throttle plugged and unplugged into another computer a few times and tested the axis there. I also threaten to mothball it for good if it still gives me problem. Well, when I plug it back to my bms computer, it worked again! I am able to lock in TGP. So all is good at the moment.
However I am thinking of gutting the x52pro mouse stick out one day and replace it with a proper thumb stick connected to a Bodnar board.

RE: Cannot lock in TGP
Thanks guys for the input. I will try to get a video. @ b0bl00i, the TGP is SOI, As mentioned in the first post, I was able to do the same mission and lock through TGP using the Ch Pro Throttle mini stick. So I think it is not a mechanization problem of using TGP. Regarding whether it is a spike issue, that is a possibility. I place the cursor on the target, then tms up, the cursor gets moved away. However I must say I have never get a lock no matter how careful I try to steady the cursor.
At the moment I have switch back to my Ch throttle. However I prefer the x52 pro throttle because of the throw and the possibility of fine control especially when it comes to air to air refueling. The problem with x52 pro for me at the moment is the ministick. I will try to get a video when I plug back my x52 pro.

Cannot lock in TGP
Hi all
I have made the x52 pro throttle mouse to be axes through registry edit suggested by Zeus. And I have used it as a mini stick cursor to lock on air to air targets using TMS up. I am also able to lock ground targets in the AG radar using TMS up. However when it comes to locking in TGP for LGB, I cannot lock any targets. I am not surewhy because I can lock using the ch throttle mini stick. It is not the drift problem as I use deadzones and the cursor does not drift. It just cannot lock in TGP. I am within range and not a zoom issue. Not even doing an area stabilization first and slowly move to the target. Just no small box and doing TMS up just make the cursor move quickly away from the target. Any ideas why?

RE: 10k or 100k potentiometer
Thanks guys.
I have bought quite a few 10k and 100k potentiometer. They are quite cheap. I am just unsure as to which to use.
I have tried modding the ch potentiometer using the SS49E hall sensor. The issue is knowing what magnets to use and where to put the magets. I have also tried the rotary encoder too, but there is the missing of the steps as SemplerPDX has said. I have not use Arduino as I am not sure of the programming. I am only using the Leo bodnar boards to add buttons and connect to the potentiometers of the joysticks to make the axes to be 12 bits instead of 8 bits.

10k or 100k potentiometer
Hi
Need some advice. Which is better? 10k or 100k potentometer? Firstly for the flight controls such as the x-y axis and rudder and throttle? Secondly for altimeter and hsi course and heading dials?
