RE: New maps?
Gentlemen,
this told honestly and frankly, with all the due respect to all and each of those opinions of yours first of all:
- no other currently active simulation does have so many theaters or campaigns made as we are so lucky for having been let to get - and for free, this has to be remarked too;
- the most strategical areas all over the the world have been developed and enhaced several times, with that only more than evident exception for those making them could infringe these Forums’ main rules about political opportunity and behave;
- we have just started the challenging VR implementation path, and, about the future new terrains, the very best is still to come, “tested” (if I dare to say so) by us final users as well and developed further. New playground, then its rules.
So, my personal opinion on this topic is: might all the current ones really be not enough until 4.38 will be released?
I’m leaving to all and each of you the answer, as it’s more than fair.With best regards to all.

RE: Quick update from the frontlines, 4.36

@Seifer
Thanks a lot. Not just for this update, but because you’re keeping on being frank and honest.
About the release date… “Chistmas will come at its own day, not before nor after”.

With best wishes to you and all the devs. and the beta testing crew, and best regards.

RE: Small EOY update...
Hello, dear mate.
If I dare to say mine own, thanks to all I-Hawk, Mav-Jp and your explainations your project seems to be highly reasonable because put a step-by-step progressing strategy - if I got its sense correctly.
Not only this, but more. From my own point of view, more frequent releases mean giving to me, a modest user, the possibility to focalize my attention to what’s new and how it has improved my flight experience overall. If not, why, helping me to report that to your devs’ attention.
But last, and most important above all, is this valuable statement of yours: we (devs. and users) are one. That because we (and we only, in spite of any other one) are a strongly connected community. Or so I have to guess.
Please keep on going this way, becasue it’s fair right.
With best regards.

RE: Nevada for BMS 4.37.XX
@Chuckles
You are always until too kind to me, I did almost nothing if compared to the whole hard work spent here by you and all the amazing team joined this time again.To all of you, now, Gentlemen.
Nevada is not a drilling/exercise theater only, and you will realize that very soon.
We only wish for you it will happen not always at your own expenses. That was our purpose, at least.Have great fun “up there”, most of all.
With best regards.

RE: Windows 11 Pro - exiting from a mission leads to crash.
@wurminatorza
Sure, of course. But without any luck. Thanks again for your interest.To all.
Guess that something went corrupted in that specific part of instructions in my installation, because all the remaining options and commands seemed working fine.So, after the last Windows cumulative update occurred yesterday, I decided to attempt the last try.
I have wiped out all the stuff and reinstalled Falcon and my favourite theaters from scratch.
If all will work fine, so nice then and we will be happy for that.
But if not, I won’t take care of it anymore, and hell to that.I will keep you informed further.
With best regards.

RE: FALCON BMS @ 23

RE: Windows 11 Pro - exiting from a mission leads to crash.
Good evening, Gentlemen.
I succeeded with acting my plan, as seems.
Was Windows in need to be fixed? Or my Falcon installation (less probable, though, given that I installed it three times from scratch)? Who knows.
It works. In full. We all (I, me and myself) are so happy.
@Seifer, @airtex2019, @WurminatorZA, @hoover, @malpaso, @Icer (hope I forgot to quote none, here, or I will be in deep trouble): thanks a huge lot for your kind assistance.
One more experience done, with a happy ending well deserved, I think.
With best regards to all.

RE: Santa's wishlist for BMS
Please listen me too here now, Gentlemen.
After having read all these - interesting! Fine? - posts of yours above, why did I started to think that poor Santa would be better to give me a top performing computer this year instead?
With best regards.

RE: Possible TrackIR failure in Windows 11 Pro.
Good morning, Gentlemen.
Here is the news: I managed to solve all my issues with TrackIR.
Thanks to the careful, patient assistance given by e-mail to a NaturalPoint technician in these last days, I had to wipe out literally any entries, one by one, of TIR in my PC/system, reinstall all the stuff from scratch, et voilà… the utility is back.
And it’s confirmed: the latest software/drivers released by NaturalPoint (5.4.2) is good in Windows 11 Pro too.Hope no one can make my experience, but in that unfortunate case I am giving below the procedure that helped me to get out from almost a nightmare:
"1. Unplug the TrackIR from your computer.
2. Remove TrackIR from add/remove programs.
3. Remove NaturalPoint Drivers from add/remove programs (this is the device driver).
4. Delete NaturalPoint folder from Program Files x86.
5. Delete NaturalPoint folder from %APPDATA% location (APPData is a hidden folder). If you have tracking profiles you wish to keep, please back up this folder instead.-C:\Users\[Your.Username]\AppData\Roaming\NaturalPoint.
- Open regedit.exe as an administrator. Please be careful not to change other items than the ones listed below.
- Search for and rename labeled as “NaturalPoint” to “NaturalPoint-00”. The default location for this is Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NaturalPoint
IMPORTANT: I DELETED ALL OF THEM INSTEAD.
The choice is yours here. - (If there are any other old references to NaturalPoint or TrackIR from the older version of the TrackIR within the registry, you may want to rename those as well.)
- Reboot your PC/system.
- Download the latest installer from NaturalPoint website.
-The latest download will also have their latest USB Drivers. - Right-click and install as an administrator. At the beginning, you will be prompted to install the device driver. Make sure this gets installed. It is important that you get prompted for this.
- Locate the Track IR 5 Icon on your desktop, right-click on it and select ‘Run as Administrator’. (This only needs to be done the first time.)"
And that’s all. At last!
(@MaxWaldorf : thanks a lot for having located my topic correctly here. Would you kindly sign it as “Solved”, now?)Thank you all so much for your kind attention and hints, and with best regards.

RE: Flight Sim Survey 2022- represent BMS
Done and sent.
Not without forgetting to ask them this year again to cover way better all the military flight sims, due that they are interested to the “civilian” ones at 98 per cent.
Not that I’m expecting anything about, but if you don’t ask, never you’ll get in return, you know.
Ah… thanks a lot for having this task reminded to me, dear Snake.
With best regards. -
RE: Aegean theater v3.x - BMS 4.35
Ahem… ATC, we are jammed here, as seems, so be good and don’t ask what was our problem after
Why this chap has to be so difficult to be handled when in AAR, bah
With best regards.

RE: Nordic Theater 4.37
@eddropper
It was missed this one too, Ed… my warmest congratulations to you and all the other dearest friends involved.And I’m going to conceive some (a few) custom TEs of mine in return, hoping it’s appreciated.
With best regards to you and all.

RE: Taiwan Theater 4.36.3
Good morning, Gentlemen.
The day has come.
Here (link text) you can find and download from the first three custom TEs I updated for the current version of Taiwan.Some advise before leaving you to the fun: I had to accept, and tolerate, some compromise to not waste the whole tactical assets and consequently the purposes of these missions. Well, I hope I succeeded in that. Besides, it could be interesting to test what happens if the tactical choices go wrong and you must fix the mess you made… a kind of trouble all of us experiment and struggle against in our real lives, I guess, no matter of what our respective jobs are.
Important. In “Domino” you can test if Vipers (but other planes as well) are really able to face the PRC last generation fighters.
Please consider to fly the missions each from the red side too, I think this could help you in refining your tactical skills. Or this was another goal I tried to accomplish, at least.
Be patient and good with me, and please forgive those errors I made - but please give me some feedback on those aniway, I would appreciate a lot.
Capito?
Ah, and there will be more others to come, only give me the time I need to (there will be a little talk for the theater devs. apart at the end of this job). Where are those blessed PRC and Taiwanese 'copters in the db, by the way? I need them. Bah.Have always fun, and don’t try that at home. Ever.
Don’t positively want to hear any wifey’s (or the like) complain about.With best regards.

RE: BMS 4.37 Theater List
May I dare to add some, about this?
Nevada and MidEast 128 sure work. I succeeded just a few moments ago.
With some (minor) flaws, of course - lack of opening screens, wrong coalition flags in the mission builder. But, oh well, you can’t get it all you want right away, can you? Let’s leave all the theater makers some free space to work once them too, I mean.More to come, if interested.
With best regards.

RE: Nevada Theatre for 4.36
@Chuckles (and all the crew),
could I miss my third ex aequo favourite theater?
The time to convert all my custom 4.35 TEs has finally come, and this will be my own contribution to your hard work.
One or two especially made for a certain Fra’ Joe comprised.
Welcome to the party, Gentlemen.
The fun is just to begin.With best compliments and regards to you and all.

RE: How do you deal a fight against a J-20 in a f16 ?
Good morning, Gentlemen.
To all who may be interested:
I am going to release two (there will be more though) custom TEs I created for the new Taiwan this weekend, and in one of them you can test just that matter with different kind of aircraft, some F-16 variants comprised.
Just hope I will succed in bringing you a “platform” (I don’t think it could be defined a “range”) useful to see and test some new things.
Be prepared, then.Thanks a lot to all of you for the interesting discussion and your points.
With best regards to all.

RE: Nordic Theater 4.37
Gentlemen,
about some custom TEs of mine for Nordic:
the counter is ticking, they are coming soon.
With best regards to all.

RE: Nevada Theatre for 4.36
@Chuckles
My pleasure only, dearest bro.And to celebrate “comme il faut” the brand new Nellis Training Range, here (all) you go: link text
This is my own little contribution: a training mission on the training ranges both, NTTR and TTR (Tonopah Training Range), created more or less in the nearby of the real one.
You have two 4-flight packages and a tanker available.
The missions have a different grade of engagement.
The loadouts are suggested only, please feel free to choose anything you like. And I am giving a customized “ppt.ini” file, more fit to this theater in my humble opinion, I’ll think that you will find it useful.Have fun (so I hope, at least), and Gavin: if you like, please feel free to add to the theater this one mission too.
With best regards to all.

And what about adding AMI (Italian Air Force) Eurofighters/Typhoons/EFAs to the database?
We too have ours, you know. As Spanish Airforce do, by the way.With best regards.
