@sheref Hey Sheref, You’re getting a positive response! Now maybe you or someone could animate the UFC buttons so we can catch up with that other sim.
pretty sure the animations are out of a modders purview, that would have to be a BMS dev team task in order for the change to be permanent? Could be wrong.
is there somewhere formal I should log this?
iirc, maps is actually a more legacy feature and was phased out on later blocks
@Falcas Ive got a couple questions, both related to eachother:
Is it possible to have the Wx information load relevant to the takeoff time of the selected package? Currently, the loaded weather information is the save time of the .cam file
As a workaround to #1 above, I have been trying to load the (F4Wx generated) fmap file that cooresponds to my takeoff time. It seems as though using “Reload Wx” often causes WDP to crash, here’s my log file…any ideas?:

Wow…that worked…thanks! Do I create and put all the extracted files into a self created new C:WDP file…or do I put into one of the Falcon BMS files I wonder?kwikflyer
It’s a standalone application, put it in a folder and run it

Greetings;
I am new to Falcon BMS and even to using a Forum for communication as well. So I hope this message is received by someone successfully and I get a reply. Thanks in advance!I am trying to download WDP from its native website download page. I have tried many times but all that downloads is a single file called Weapon_Delivery_Planner_3.7.24.232 (2).7z. I believe there should be several files downloaded with content for installing it.
How can I successfully download the complete file and install it I wonder?
thank you Forum members; kwikflyer
.7z is a file compression filetype, same as a .zip file. You can open it with many free programs such as winRAR* or (also free): 7-zip.
*technically not free? but has a funny, notorious, trail period that never expires.
If it doesn’t say this, you didn’t install the update.
@jayb IRL sorties would also be organized such that they would have access to needed resources. So, if there was only 1 tanker available, the mission fragging would acknowledge that constraint.

Hello,
I am very happy to post v1.2 that corrects the wingtip racks issues.
Hope this will work fine for you ! (It was tested by Topolo, it works by him).

Good Friday it is
Youre doing gods work, @Radium
@JUmpstart5179 you sure you were zeroed and hadn’t accidentally offset your target designation searching with the FCR?

@Radium sweet thanks Radium. I’ll get it in the Balkans for the next release.
heck yeah.
Thanks @cougar56th (and @Radium obviously )
@Icarus agreed, I think only having one way to do it will both eliminate confusion and allow a better concentration on the features of the launcher (and the documentation surrounding it)

I’m not resistant to change, I just think some of the UX choices are unintuitive ¯\(ツ)/¯, but I am only one person, with one opinion (which may differ from others).
I’m not really saying this for you, it’s that the complaints about AL are constant and I’ve tried it with everything, I have 2 hotas, I fly with a keyboard and now I’m testing mouse profiles with UCR (universal controller remapper), I mean, I’ve tried all kinds of variants so that AL explodes and stops working, and it is not like that, AL continues to fulfill its function.
I remember those old days of setting up with the excel table and damn it’s like a bilateral testicle pain (both sides). AL improved my life so much and that of many pilots of our wing, we wrote a letter to @chihirobelmo in private thanking him for such a wonderful program, he made life much easier and much easier for those who only fly falcons. If you read this note and only fly falcon sporadically you will not know how grateful we are.
So don’t worry, @jstnj It’s not related to your topic, although you do complain more than usual about the work of the falcon bms team, but I take it as a simulation enthusiast who doesn’t know how to drain all that energy of complaining and complaining and post it here on the forum.
so wherever you are, fly more and less complaints.
greetings.
You are clearly having trouble understanding what “complain” means, and that wanting to improve is actually a positive thing.
The BMS team are software developers and artists. The best software always comes through feedback and iteration. You (maybe?) realize that the userbase of BMS knows the high capabilities of the dev team, and we should all civilly work toward the best possible end results of the sim we enjoy.
We don’t need people like you gatekeeping every time someone has feedback. You’re basically stalking me around the forum commenting under all my posts, it’s weird.

@duke73 BCUninstaller is a good, free, open-sourced uninstaller that also cleans up registry “junk”. Its a power user type program so, verify what you are deleting before deleting it.
Having said that, registry values are likely not going to solve your problem.

Norton installed and up to date…
Side note and not the solution to your 2fps problem (but maybe a solution to a problem you haven’t run into yet):
There’s 0 need for 3rd party antivirus software in 2023. You could actually consider Norton to be the malware in this scenario
