RE: [ANN] opentrack 2.0 beta 1 released!
Thanks for the info massima, however I seem to be too dumb to find it in the various subfoldersā¦ can you enlighten me to just where you uploaded it? Or should I be looking for a spec file that allows me to build the package from source on a debian based system like Ubuntu?
Thanks & all the best,
Uwe
I uploaded it in my gdrive space (here), it can be reached by a link in the wiki page of the project.
The deb package can be installed via ādpkg -i opentrack_2.3.12-1_amd64.debā, via gdebi or other tools; if you use latest Ubuntu, you shouldnāt have dependency issues. I compiled the core code without Wine/aruco/etc. -
RE: [ANN] opentrack 2.0 beta 1 released!
Sorry to necromance this thread, but has anyone built the current version of opentrack (git or 2.3.12) successfully on an Ubuntu 20.04 based platform?
TIA & all the best,
Uwe
i built a deb package for my debian testing, you find it in the github page of the project.

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
Interesting site, except for the language, i need to translate it. Anyway, the calibration sw is for only windows platform, second it uses the espressif wifi module esp8266 i prefer a classic usb cable. iāll take a look

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
I alsways had an eye on building an MPU9250 based headtracker as well. But as itās only 3DOF Iāll stay with my 6DOF IR Tracking
It is true but the hatire data structure is made of 6 values [x, y, z, roll, yaw, pitch] i added only last 3 of them. So i think it is possibile to pass displacements like
x=ax*t^2 where āaxā is acceleration along x and ātā is the time. Simple or not is an idea to work on it8-) -
RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
Finally i have my headtrack with arduino and a MPU9250 working with opentrack and the hatire plugin.

RE: Problema con bms 4.34 il noz pos della maneta non arriva al 100%
Potresti utilizzare un traduttore. Hai configurato, a dovere, la tua periferica??

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
A MPU9250 must be calibrated correctly and now iām not able to do this now (limit of my programming knowlegment), iām giving up temporary for now. It is too inaccurate when i only pitch it yaw too, this is inadmmisible in any sim and specially in a combat sim:-?

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
I give up with headtrack using arduino, the future is VR helmet when its price will decrease.

RE: Falcon BMS 4.34 Changes you noticed.
I noticed that now the function āSimRadarStandbyā has been renamed in āSimRadarFreezeā but it doesnāt freeze the radar in AA mode while in AG mode it enables the OSB7. Havenāt i read the f*****g manual??
Devs, you do a stunning work on every version!!!
Thanks -
RE: Mission Commander beta release
The dll is in the main program directory (C:\program files\missionā¦)

Probably my post could be useful.

RE: "Royal Maces" VFA-27 Skin (BMS 4.33 F-18 C Hornet US Navy Skin)
I know but it remains always off on the mfd. A DDS file is only an image file, the original DDS doesnāt create that issue.:D
Edit: my mistake, FCR is working, but dds textures need a fix.
editx2: I found here a solution to rename correctly the dds files:
4.33 ā¦ā¦ 4.33.1
2013 -> 3657
2014 -> 3658 3664 -
RE: "Royal Maces" VFA-27 Skin (BMS 4.33 F-18 C Hornet US Navy Skin)
It doesnāt work (low res). Only the 1974.dds is replaced, the other ones are new. In the game on the tank there is the write āblack macesā, nothing else. I cannot enable FCR is always OFF, no problem with original dds. Isnāt it compatile with update1? Right??

RE: Training missions
Are the old training mission compatible with version 4.33?
