Ice profile works in 4.34, but cannot remember if this is same profile as his last release for 4.33. I read somewhere (reddit? hoggit?) that he release 4.34-compatible Helios profile but only to a few persons, I don’t think he update his blog page.

No, last official Helios is version 1.3.190.448
version 1.4.xxxx is unofficial -
RE: Nightvision settings
It is very bright because at start of TE, sun is still above horizon and directly faceing pilot. See image in post #7, so area is very bright and really no need of NVG.
But correct use of NVG or not correct use is not the issue, it is pointing out odd behavior of switchstate vs toggle callback for NVG. -
RE: Nightvision settings
Sorry Jackal but I do not understand what you say. I now identify issue being of using the callback, but if switchstate callback do not make same result as toggle callback, plus switchstate callback can affect toggle callback, then maybe this is bug?

RE: Nightvision settings
A little more testing I find that is possible turn on NVG by ToggleNVGMode and again turn on NVG by SimNVGModeOn
Top image is only ToggleNVGMode
Bottom image is ToggleNVGMode then SimNVGModeOn -

RE: Nightvision settings
OK, I think I find issue or bug. I use TFR TE for test, but not even turn on jet, just test NVG.
Top image is default, no NVG
Middle image is NVG using ToggleNVGMode (sorry, I crop resolution to 1 screen)
Bottom image is NVG using SimNVGModeOnMaybe confirm is you have same issue using the different callback? Thank you

RE: Nightvision settings
No FLIR or TFR is needed. I try again, modify 000 benchmark test TE fly at 2300 hrs. F-16CM-52, TGP and FLIR not set up, just start in air. Big green sky is overcast clouds.

RE: Help I d'ont see ICP on ICE profile.. Why??
Use original/official Helios, not modified one.

RE: Nightvision settings
Behavior is same with or without fullscreen NVGs. FLIR is on because this TFR TE practice but in top image, everything is dark and normal, in bottom image, it look like I fly in daylight hours.

Nightvision settings
I try this with both full screen NVG on and off using TE 08. Is this expected behavior in 4.34 or is it wrong settings?
Is like with NVG on, entire world has ceiling lights turned on, NVG off the room is dark.

RE: The VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle
I use Voice Attack to map POV hat as comms switch just like in real Viper HOTAS. It is still external software but since it is already use for voice commands, it is already in use and just become extra useful!

TE 06 - cannot play?
I select TE 06 for training but cannot click takeoff button in UI, no instructions on training manual and only one aircraft group in TE. Is it bug?

RE: Is there anyone try helios in bms4.34?It doesnt work for me.
Working 4.34, can verify!

RE: Recover from hot start
Please look on “Briefing” page or ATO.
Learn more new stuff, thanks!
If your throttle has a detent, like the warthog,
Not issue here anymore, just confusion with training manual and actual jet in TE

RE: Recover from hot start
Thank you to Mav-jp and Dragon1-1 for patience! I do not know what F-16 version but I use TE 01 and it look like engine fire always after 700C FTIT. Is no way to recover from engine fire, no? Just restart mission? Or can still restart engine but longer (JFS refuel, etc.)?
I confirm by try benchmark test TE and engine fire only after 800C FTIT and can follow Dash 1 instruction of restart engine after hotstart with 750-800C FTIT.

RE: Recover from hot start
Sorry, I mean FTIT above 750, not RPM.
If you see FTIT rising at an alarming rate or go above 750°C you are encountering a hot start
As not a pilot, I do not know what is or not alarming rate. As not a pilot, I know what is go above 750C, so that I follow. The word “or” means I can follow either, no?
FTIT should not go above 800°C. If you see FTIT rising at an alarming rate or go above 750°C you are encountering a hot start; immediately pull the throttle back to CUTOFF and let the FTIT decrease to 200°C while the JFS is running, before attempting another engine start.
I do not get FTIT above 800C, put throttle go CUTOFF between 750-800C. I copy above from Dash 1 page 166 and from reading, it sounds like it can possible to restart engine and not unrecoverable.
