@Red:
If you declared the idle cutoff detent from the config, you need to ensure to use them properly and that your joystick is compatible - or programmed for it
and you need to cycle controls ALL the way up and back to CUTOFF as soon as you enter 3D before doing anything else
Warthog do not have axis between the cutoff and the idle, but buttons if I remember right, they have the zero of the analogue course at the idle point, unlike the cougar which have the zero at the cutoff point
So you need to tell us how you declared that part of your joystick by programming.
IMHO, therein lies your issue - you seem to use the idle cutoff analog code from the config, but you have no analogue value between cutoff and idle
Thank you. Documentation was confusing and all questions about physical detent also confusing. I think because of WH needing lift into cutoff, that is consider physical detent, I think now that is refer to something else?
After many readings, I just needed to un-check idle cutoff in bms config. Very, very confusing especially when callbacks show up in setup - controllers UI…… it will work if idle cutoff is un-check, it will not work if idle cutoff is check, but in both example, callbacks show up in UI. But all is correct and working now, thanks to awesome community!
