RE: Creating a TE with Refuel station…no comm freq or band setting in mission briefing.
Here is the files. I wasn’t sure which ones you need so I put them all in a zip file.
Not sure if I understand all this correctly, but your file looks ok to me and I can see the Tanker UHF just fine.
Is it possible that you are still in “Editor Mode” while looking at your Briefing; there I didn´t saw the Tanker Freq. -
RE: About moving a squadron from Carrier in RL
VFA-81 (as well as some 94th FW F-22) visiting Lakenheath in 2018. May not be all that common, but does happen.

RE: SEAD Escort
First thing that comes to mind is Fuel.
Did they have enough for the Mission?
You have a Save game to look at? -
RE: I CAN'T GET FALCON BMS TO INSTALL ON MY BRAND NEW GAMING PC !! HELP PLEASE!!
Did you install the original Falcon 4 first?

RE: Is there a map view while in the sim?
Just wondering, is there a map view while flying in BMS? and if so, what is the key command or how does it work?
thanks! Not exactly what you are looking for but I have WDP open on my second Monitor. DataCard and Map I´d consider something a Pilot would take along in the jet anyway, and that´s an easy way for me to check where I am.
As far as other units, you can have several flights in your Package and have an eye on their position via Datalink.

RE: Many questions
Hi
I´m a new guy in falcon 4.0 and I wanted to know where I can find mods for this game, I actually looked up in the forum but only find discussion threads, I also will like to create my own aircrafts if anyone knows of a tutorial guide for this I will be really grathefull
Welcome to the Best Military Simulation
I guess you have seen it already, but just in case, have a look at the dedicated Mod Section:
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?36-Community-MODs-WIPThere are a few stickies that may help you to get started and I assume the Modders, aka the ones that can help you best, do frequent that part of the forum most.
In the past I found it helpful to provide as much Information as possible in my first post in order to get the help I sought quickly. -
ATC Masters 2020

- Multi Directional Approach
- Overhead Break
- One Missed Approach
Unrelated Comms Chatter for Ambience only.
A Joy (for me) to watch. -

- Selectable Offload Quantity when AARíng, like 2000, 4000, 6000, Full.
- AI that honors (or trys to) whatever is locked in Mission Planner, so either ToS or Speed.

RE: Cant get F4 original disc to install…
Go to Steam, spend 5 or 6 bucks and be done with it.
That´s what I did.

RE: SEAD Loiter?
My limited testing indicates that the SEAD flight will fire an initial Volley at the SEAD WP and then hang around some time to see if anything comes up.
With multiple SAMs in the area you should consider having multiple SEAD flights as well and , if they are close enough to each other, add some more DEADs as well.
Thus you won´t have to come back later -
RE: No DEAD Action on a DEAD Role flight
Hi guys,
…
My question is when I’m trying to set the a DEAD action for the DEAD flight I’ve got only the option of SEAD, I want to destroy the SA-3’s that are in the way (relatively close to the Israeli boarders). Also is there a way to plan a destruction of SAM’s on a two different battalions at the same flight? if yes how?
…
When you create a DEAD flight you will have a Target waypoint. This Target WP you need to drag over the SAM site (the red icon) until you see the name in the WP window.
I found that a flight of 2 with SDB´s can pretty much wip out an SA-2 site, and would assume they can do the same for an SA-3 site.
Be aware tho that the default Distance from IP to TGT is only around 10nm, thus the flight will not be able to spend all their SDB´s in one go. It´s better to move the IP to 20-25nm so they will have all 16 in the air by 15-18nm.For two battalions (I would) use 2 Flights.

RE: Falcon BMS Alternative Launcher (Easy Setup, Keep Joystick Assignments)
Would it be possible to have the Alternative Launcher - a great and very helpful piece of Software btw - start again once I terminate Falcon?
I like to do my planning in Full Screen , but actaully fly the Mission with Winow mode checked. -
RE: Taking Off Properly
This happens in the RL Trainers I fly…and in the RL jet - and the pilots I work with call it exactly what you did…“unstick”. From what you’ve said, you’re doing what they do. And what I do in the Trainer - pull through it, and relax back pressure once the jet is airborne. Small inputs.
Well, if that´s the way it is, then I guess it´s the way it is
Asuring to know I´m in good company.@Everyone else replied - Thanks for taking the time!

RE: Taking Off Properly
T-C i run into the same exact issue (and by no means do I look at any rotation speed (yet))… What Mav says is true… and it will improve the more you do it, and learn to work with the stick… Never having flown a Viper I don’t know how real BMS replicates that, and without any force feedback it’s hard to tell, but I can tell you airplanes I fly don’t act that way (but then again, in those airplanes, I calculate VR
You use a TM Warthog stick as well?
Might be just the difference between the Force sensing and the more traditional layout. I´ll get used to it, but it still feel wierd the way it is. -
RE: Taking Off Properly

- be gentle
- be gentle
Well, “Gentle” is my middle name
Anyway, seeing this is apparently a thing in the F-16 I´ll get it sorted eventually; thanx much!

RE: Taking Off Properly
the worst thing to do
I figured that.
But what would be the “best thing” to do to go from Rolling to Airborne in one smooth move? -
RE: Taking Off Properly
What rotation speeds do you get? Do you use any input curves?
Thx for the help!
As an example:
2120, 29X, 2G12, 2370Gal, TGP, ECM = GW 37934, DI 158, WDP calculates Rotation @158 which seems reasonable to me.No curves or anything, default setup via Alternative Launcher.
