TAKR Admiral Kuznetsov

A really good addition to your Carrier would be a new, BMS compliant, Navalized SU-33 3D model equipped with a modern digital cockpit. It would look really good in Korea 2012:D
Only problem such kind of Su-33 does not exist.

You are right.
My latest Sukhoi 33 pictures are these ones (real cockpit and simulator)
And nothing like MFDs…
Don’t make confusion with :
Latest Mig 29K/UB
Sukhoi 35
Or Sukhoi 27SKM!

Any thought about a U.S. one?
Basically, I don’t do US stuff, because they are too common to my eyes. And, exotism is one of my favorite work engine when I consider initiating a new project!
What are you thinking about?
IF i/we be lucky and you want to spend some of your free time, i would be more than happy with one U.S. aircraft carrier made by your top skills like for USS George Washington (CVN 73) for example:
Thank you again for your hard efforts and offers to this great simulator !

Nikos. To tell the truth, my todo list for carrier would be :
1/ Kuznetsov
2/ Vikramaditya
3/ Izumo
4/ Charles de Gaulle
5/ Wasp
6/ CavourOne Moskva class will be done somewhere between, for my friend Amraam
So, before any US supercarrier, there is some time!
Best regards,
Radium

I vote for
Charles de Gaulle (w rafale M )
Cavour (Harrier)Great job mate!
-
I vote on USS Midaway. It is one of the most unique carrier which ever served because its origin and history.

Midway? Never heard about… Nothing never happened in Midway, I never heard such name of Midway, what a strange idea to call a ship Midway

I vote on USS Midaway.
Maybe you did not understood that there is nothing to vote. Radium is not asking what he should do … but telling us what he will probably do.

This is right!
Moreover, I want to be taken as the guy we concentrate on non-US stuff!
But yes, Dee-Jay there is nothing to vote… Especially when I didn’t offered what is being voted. I work by passion, so, democratic sight is not relevant here! Sorry!
Also, before making a pilotable and landable Rafale M, there is some serious aspects to fix, like to ensure we can make a safe simulation out of it… I won’t go further that point.
Third aspect, I can change my plans in a second… So, before seing a WIP page, please take my wishlist/todo list not that seriously, rather as a general policy statement, or a global path…
For example, Cavour class can in one evening be changed into an Invincible class…
Best regards,
Radium
P.S. No WIP for tonight, I charge my batteries before starting unwrapping and creating her UVW map!

I know, the “vote” was only a personal list. I simply added my. You know '80s.

We’ve understood no worry … was just joking.

In this case, for 80s, I would do the beautiful Foch carrier, decommissioned for French Navy in 2000 , still in use by Brazil.

Hello,
I will do it, as I said previously…
Sukhoi Su-25UTG should be done too.
Nothing for now to share, I am unwrapping my model!
For now, I suppose I unwrapped 50%…
Best regards,
Radium

Hello,
It’s been a I haven’t shared some work in progress.
So, I decided to show my unwrapping. WIP
For those who don’t know what this phase is : once the 3D mesh is ready, you unwrap every polygon, on a graphical layer, to later paint and bake it.
This phase is really long, as it needs to be absolutely perfect to render a nice texture.
Mine here is like 75% finished, but, I still need a huge amount of work to make it ready to be painted.
While making it, you’d be highly recommended to check your DOFs (animations), to optimize your unwrap size.
Then, now, I am making one big sheet of 40964096+ one auxiliary alpha channel sheet of 10241024, for nets etc…
Best regards,
Radium

Take your time…beautiful work.

Holy s***. Radium that is some awesome work you have done. Respect man… :bowd:
Keep walking
Greetings

Can you explain this a little closer, please.
… I don’t got it.Cheers,

LSHello, Thank you for your kind words!
It is really important to check what is shown and what is not that much, when you are using a very very small template and when you have many objects to unwrap. Then, you can make something coherent, giving an appropriate size to what deserves it.
Best regards,
Radium
